At least thats what i can gather from the information that was given to us. Did MC and poor just appear in the same sentence? Ahhahahah ! that poor poor mc. Fxoboss did a small blog post about how koreans leaving a teamhouse environment and joining a western team lose the value that they have by having korean training. Dunno if it applies to MC as it seems as if he is a smart kid and earnt his money through his own effort but without the ogs team house it might be hard to stay in code s. He hasnt always been the best team player though. Picking teammates into his group is pretty bad humour and huk says mc isnt overly enthusiastic in sharing replays or strats, which is completely understandable. Best of luck to him though.

Has oGs made a statement about the parting terms?

Wowwww.
Absolutely insane.

and they didn't even make an announcement of an announcement for it! Things are shaping up! Kind of surprising until you think about how he's had a gf and didn't/hasn't been spending time in the teamhouse anyway, and foreign team money ofc

Sad. SK buying up random talent with no apparent commitment to building a team.

Why doesn't MC get the same privilege, did he leave on bad terms or something? This is not correct. HuK stayed in the house for a transitionary period. Absolutely not for as long as he wanted, and I have never seen the HuK quote you're talking about.

terrible, terrible, idea.

SK: No SC2 division to powerhouse in ten seconds flat.

Wow, I sure hope it's an exhorbitant deal... Because I can't see MC continuing in code S for much longer without pro-house practice (and the schedule that involves), and team-mate/coach support.

Wow.
Good luck? Maybe things got stagnant for MC in oGs, keeping things fresh is always good I guess.

Part of me expects this is part of his grand plan. I expect 2012 to be a big year for MC now, just not in Korea. I think his timing is pretty fantastic too.
Unless this is all for 'girlfriend' reasons, as some have suggested. In which case this is little more than a marriage of convenience unless SK are paying him big, big dollars.

He wants to move out and live by himself. That's why.

MC's in his 20's and he has a beautiful girlfriend. There's no privacy in a teamhouse and sometimes you just want to go back "home" and have some alone time...

Just re-read Reis statement, and:
I'd like to take a moment to say thanks to oGs for participating in our great cooperation with us and NaDa, who I had a great time with.
Does that mean the partnership with Nada is over?

All it means to me is MC being absent from team games, and thus less MC games overall.
