There is no way in hell he will improve at anywhere near the same level practicing by himself instead of in the house. He took the money but now he will be a worse player in the future. I dont understand how companies like SK can invest in a player without providing some practice clause that allows him to keep up his practice. Its a dying investment as he will perform worse and worse as time goes on. Not to mention , now he doesnt get to play in the Gom team league. Terrible deal. But you really dont know that.. Maby MC is just start for SK ? . To be clear i agree with you 100% , but imo MC is not that stupid , he know whats mean no partners to play etc.. I just feel its only start of SK pro team , maby a house in Kr who knows.

How could he be foolish enough to think that this will work out for him in the long run. I mean unless they are giving him more than he made this year from prize earnings as a salary, the deal doesnt make sense.

Still that plan is easily 6 months or more away if thats what they are planning on doing (and we dont know that they are even) what will happen to his performance in the meantime, its pretty obvious he will fall behind.

GSL Nov, GSL December, MLG prov, Blizzcup. All major tournaments that MVP did not win. Selective memory? It seems most MVP fanboys live around MLG anaheim to the last GSL MVP won. With him nearly being eliminated by MC on both WCG and AOL2 lol. This topic is about MC anyway don't know why haters have to derail so much. There will come a team when MVP cant cheese his way to victory against protoss and thats when ya'll should start raging. ...? You're kidding, right? MVP has beaten MC with standard play and cheeses FAR less often than MC. Your statements are even worse than the "MVP fanboy's" statements.

How can you be so foolish to understand that MC believes a lot in practice but joined a team without any other players to practice with. Trust yourself that MC isn't that foolish and that SK has something up their sleeves they'll announce soon.

I would be more hopeful if they just didnt announce anything about where mc will be practicing , but it says right there hes practicing from home. And i could easily see money swaying any beliefs of a poor kid from korea.

The difference is like Flash and BeSt lol MC plays protoss and by that measure he's a fuck ton better than MVP. How many other protoss won GSL? None. Plenty of terran have, Not to mention 10x more personality which sells. And will sell product for SK. Check out fan club..many more members. MC has more marketability than MVP period.

That's true that MC hasn't had good performances in GSTL, but he was still was a huge threat for teams so that they had to revolve their lineup around him, but my statement is true about him being only reliable protoss that actually had wins over Vines or Inca (who I don't think played in GSTL season 1) . NaDa was 2-3 in GSTL, not good, but it's not about winning record sometimes.
