Prefer the Proleague method! While all-kills are cool the alternative feels like it gives the teams more depth and less chance of one player carrying the team to victory *cough* MvP *cough*.

MVP has a pretty fucking deep line-up. They've won games without DongRaeGu, and have potential anchors from multiple races.

GSTL~~~~~~!!! <3 The new format seems very easy to understand, and I appreciate that they said it'll be easier for other teams to join in with this format ^^. Maybe some other people will be inspired to make hype threads like Virgilsc2 did for TSL? That would be awesome

It's too bad this format doesn't work at all for fantasy league. Not enough matches, tiny group stage that isn't even round robin.

The flip side is I get to be the only GSTL fantasy winner until they change the format. :O

with winner's league format I doubt it.

we'll see MVP fans going.

lame format, I don't like it that 2 teams are already eliminated by the 3rd week, prefer the previous GSTL much more where you could see every team until almost the end. Also fantasy GSTL is ruined.

DRG all-killed Prime, got 3 kills against SlayerS, 3 kills against IM and 3 kills against oGs.
The only other player to do remotely that well was Genius who all-killed NsHoseo so there was no need for DRG to come in and clean things up.

MvP might have a good lineup but they haven't really shown that they can get by without one player having to carry them through.

May I have to remind you that they WON the GSTL finals WITHOUT DRG?

StarTaleQ?

Why not StarQuail? Or QuanTale? Now I'm not sure if I want to get a ticket.

Well looks like I'll pass on gstl this time around.
I still enjoy gstl the most, but I really don't like the winner's league format.

Hmm, at first glance the group B matches seem a lot more interesting based on past teamleague performances. Startale and NSHS did quite well last season iirc and TSL was inexplicaby strong until they hit Prime. The teams in group A generally disappointed last season. I'm hopping Slayers steps up to regain a potion of its former teamleague glory, but I'm rooting for TSL to take it all,TSL fighting!

Not the first time that a Korean confused (Z)Calm with (Z)Clam. Like the time (P)Stats became (P)Srats.

Anyways, cool format. For a second, I was scared that they omitted Prime and MVP, but then I just saw that they only seeded them higher into the bracket. Good for them.

I am especially interested to see how Zenex will do, especially after losing so many players over the past year.
