They need a total of 8 games for this (3 qualification, 5 groupplay). If they just did a round robin with groups of 5, it would be 10 games, only 2 more. | ||

GSTL uses the all-kill format (player plays until he loses, then his team has to chose the next player) If that's what you wanted to know. What's better? I also gotta say, the format does seem kinda weird; but if Gom decided that they didn't have enough time to do a full ten-team league, then this seems like a much better way to do things than just choosing who gets to play, either by gsl points or just arbitrarily, like they used to do. | ||
