Pro-athletes better look good cause all they do everyday is work out. You'd expect them to look good. Likewise for e-sports, one thing is being presentable and another is buying into all this superficial, let's cross-dress and go metro crap. If you were to broadcast the Korean BW Proscene in any mainstream channel in any major western country, you'd get a major laugh from most people, not respect.

Chess is respected in the west as a high-level intellectual activity. That is the kind of respect I wish e-sports and sc/sc2 had. Does Kasparov work-out? I don't know, I don't care. Did Bobby Fisher get hairgel or cross-dress? I hope not nor do I care. It's their mental prowess people look after.

Why taint SC2 just because 1 country has 1 particular way of doing things? E-sports is now global, not just korean.
