Yeah the fan girl aspect of scbw is a HUGE part of its popularity over there and it hasnt transferred to sc2. I have no clue how we can make that work in the west though.

lol, i guess we should pass that info on to all the sc2 pros who've dated random fangirls (idra, ret, probably more i've forgotten).
All it really takes is one good photoshoot with a professional crew and makeup crew. You guys have the money and the attention, it's just logistics and organizing the event. Hopefully something like Blizzcon or some Invitational where all the big guns can get a good group photo with some media coverage, maybe even make a hype/promo video like OSL MSL has with CG and shit.
