Get an expert personal trainer who can train several people with several lvls of fitness using mostly body weight exercises, light dumbells, and bands.
Cheaper then buying a load of equipment when few have no idea how to use it or progress
OP is fail imo. it has nothing to do with sex appeal. western culture overall is just not geared towards gamers yet... give it a few more decades and things will be much diff

you dont need to work out alot to have a decent body. people are just lazy or dont care enough.
and bro trainers are hella more expensive than buying a set of dumbbells. and theres tons of workout tutorials on the web. people are just not motivated.

Btw, I think most SC2 pros are above average looking.. I mean they would not stand out or something from people who are not progamers... I'd even say the SC2 proscene has suprisingly many good looking guys.
This is a GREAT topic and should not be put off. Just because this might not be what YOU want in eSports does not mean it shouldn't. If the stereotype got erased then much more people would not be "ashamed" to watched eSports. Even today i had an argument with someone that said something like, "If you spend all your time hanging out watching those nerds like you do, you won't ever get a girlfriend, get a fucking life man." Instantly put off because it is thought as an anti-female thing to do. If you actually want eSports to grow, you need to realize that sex appeal is how you sell things and this would be a great move forward for the whole movement of eSports.
Lets be honest, most pro gamers aren't great lookers period. No disrespect meant, no flaming, but sc pro gamers aren't the most attractive people in the world. Wow, so horrible, guess what, neither am I, I'm not on some ego trip.
Athletes have the advantage of exercising all the time, eating healthy, and sleeping well. That makes you look better, even if you don't have the best face in the world. Cyber Athletes have to sit down all day, not move, and generally they stay up late to interact with other gamers who the same. That makes you look worse.
Some pro gamers look good, way better than me, that's for sure. But should you really try to ramp up sex appeal when few players have it? Whenever people say oh wow that caster/player is so handsome, what a sexy fella, I kind of groan because it's obviously not true, and it's a lame way to pay a general compliment (which is what they're doing).
If you got the looks, sell 'em, but there's no reason (in my humble opinion) to make a market wide push.
