The gift of code S, which they could give to anyone because the gsl/mlg partnership doesn't extennd into 2012 and the prize for providence was the blizzcup spot they gave him. I mean the audacity of them, deciding not to give someone the gift of code S that was never announced or made official in the first place. Do you also never talk to a friend again if they forget to give you a gift on some random holiday?

After buying every single sc2-tournament from them and being a supporter from the BW-days I'm a bit sad that they ignore emails. I'm not happy about Nani either but in this case GOM havnt exactly lived up to my expectations and any help on getting in touch with them would be great.

This contradicts MLG's statement. GOM did pull the rug out from under the exchange program, as initially Providence was going to see another Code S seed regardless of when the next Code S took place because Providence took place in 2011. A Blizzard Cup invite, while respectable, is probably not worth as much as Code S. I suppose that's why when they changed their format they sent two people to the Blizzard Cup from Providence instead of one. You seem to have overlooked that they modified their seeding, not that it was always the case that Providence was going to reward seeds this way. Suppose you are in line behind someone at the supermarket and they have a coupon for pineapples. They have a whole cart full of fucking pineapples. It turns out the coupon is expired so they say nevermind, I'm no longer interested in purchasing these pinapples. Do you butt in and chastise him for not buying the pineapples just because he didn't get a free 10% discount? Why do you care at all?

Season 2012 havn't started and they changed what they promised (yes even MLG thinks so: MLG on Nani code S). Have you watched any of the Blizzard cup or has it been 3 days since you bought it? If so you're not getting a refund.

I also suggested to them they I totally understand if they charge me for the blizzard cup and refund the rest. However, no answer.

Don't forget Naniwa, as he's the third side. No one knows the real reason for his behavior in that match against Nestea. Well, we can speculate around it, yet without any results. I held responsible GOM for all this Naniwa incident bla bla. Yes, they failed to prevent it in the first place, that speaks a lot about their abilities (or lack off). No, I will not blame Naniwa for what happened there, instead, I will blame GOM for making it possible in the first place. Screw it, screw the pro-gamers scene! As long as such shitty comments happens (see below), every pro-gamer "slave" deserves their fate. Instead of siding with a fellow gamer on a matter that might even concern them, they go.. well you know where. "@FXOChoya: [Can't believe] that kind of bastard is a pro-gamer." .... "@SC2MVP (Team MVP official twitter): What a relief that Complexity transferred Naniwa to Quantic. We almost had to have that kind of player stay in our house for longer. The most disappointing game as an SC2 fan. What's the most angering is that Nestea practiced hard into the night to practice yesterday, even though it was his birthday" Such rushed statements coming from some ppls that are way below Naniwa's game level makes me puke. That's a good measure of how high the "respect" is regarded in sc2 pro-gaming community

GOM should have to answer for what they've done here. Even if you think they are within their rights to just change what they promised (I don't), you have to admit what GOM did was duplicitous and very unprofessional. They appear nothing short of hypocrites to me.

The whole point of this entire fucking thread is that everyone in MLG assured NaNi, the fans and the casters that NaNi was in Code S from MLG Providence and GOM then decided it was a gift and that they were revoking it. THAT is the point. So everything you said is moot. It is also clear that you haven't read half the thread...or even the OP.

The seed he earned was into the blizzardcup, which GOM carried through with. Please get your facts straight next time, as this has been addressed many times now.

You're not going to get a refund through paypal, they will always side with the big companies. The only way you will get a refund is requesting a chargeback with your credit card company.

Then what.... there was no code S to be given at providennce, the only difference is he would not have gotten into the blizzardcup, and hence would have gotten nothing. He still probably would've been a consideration for one of the 2 code S seeds for next season, but it would still be just as unrelated to providence as it is now.

If SlayersCoca had to forfeit his code S spot for forfeiting a game in an unrelated tournament (not to mention, also got kicked out of the Slayers house and was demoted to B-team), it's perfectly reasonable for Naniwa to lose his code S INVITE next season for forfeiting a game in a highly publicized, broadcasted GOMTV-sponsored tournament that supposedly showcases the best players in the world in 2011. If I may add, Coca was already in the round of 16 when he forfeited his spot. Furthermore, he's not allowed to compete in any tournaments until his team deems him "ready" (whatever that means). Naniwa's "invitation" to the next season's code S was merely revoked, and he's not banned from anything. So in comparison, it's not even that bad. If anything, I think the punishment could be harsher to mirror how hard Coca got owned.

It's been about 2-3 months since the new format was announced and I never ever saw GOM explain how the 2 Code S and 2 Up/Down seeds were to be chosen or issue a denial about Nani's Code S. They've been the best league for a long time, but this is one HUGE area in which they can improve...
