Please discuss IdrA and Sen in Code S January in this thread. |

My thoughts? Why was it given to Idra? Of course he's a great player but why exactly him over another?

He dropped out first round Code A. Placing second in last MLG got a direct Code S seed (leenock was already code S so he got it) Wow, I totally forgot that! Is it true that Naniwa would've gotten a code S seed due to his strong performance in providence?
He was the highest Placed non code S at MLG Providence.
I don't think it is Naniwa as if they took Naniwas code S spot then it should have gone to DRG as he placed 3rd

For those that are asking why IdrA.. think for a second and put yourself in the position of the management/marketing team of GOM, IdrA should be a clear choice.

Nestea finished his military service before becoming a bw pro. It's one of the reasons why he went from a promising amateur to terrible pro in sc1.

But enough with all the 'well, lets invite him to Code X' bullshit.
Do wild cards or something, geez :/
Yep, completely lessens the quality of the title 'code s'.

No one should get an invite into Code S anyways. That is kind of ridiculous. Players should be earning their way into what is supposed to be the most difficult and prestigious tournament anywhere.

To be honest, the way nestea has been playing this may be his chance to end it while being on the top. In any case, congratulations to Idra. It's a great chance, hope you're ready for it.

Was there anything in the GSL Blizzard Cup that said there were penalties for not playing all 4 games? there also wasn't anything that says GOM can't do whatever the fuck they want. While you are right, there is no way they are throwing out Naniwa just of how many will watch when he play. Its probably SC. why would it be sC? He was playing in IPL Team Arena Challenge and they said the games werent that old They were apparently from October and sC had his relapse during November. He's been discharged from hospital a few days ago, but he might not be in good shape yet.

Boss rollin', he be trollin'.

I don't understand why people think that nani doesn't deserve a kick out of the tournament. He didn't behave: - "g" instead of "gg": I see this as a spit in the face - probe rushing
In such a big tournament you just have to act professional, and he just can't.
|
Wait wasn't there a spot because of Coca?
|
wow, just announced from Sen's facebook, he's been giving a code s seed for Jan too...
|
This brings Artosising your way into a tournament to a whole new level.
|
I think it kinda makes sense with Idra giving his spot away. Hopefully not to replace Naniwa, that would be really stupid.

sC has been in and out of the hospital because of collapsed lungs and such. He's had to take a couple breaks over the past few months and hasn't been able to completely focus enough to get back into it yet

Then maybe my brain isnt working. Its not sC he is in perfect health atm.
Idra deserves it, he left GSL gracefully and is now back.. He is also that calibre right now.
