If I was in charge I would make sure that this kid would never be allowed to participate in ANY tournament. Yes, i have ssen it a couple of time, Koreans only hitting one "g" before leaving.

Cool glad youre not in charge, also glad that your logic is epicly flawed in terms of the missing g thing.

Seems kind-of like a harsh punishment IMO are you suprised after Coca incident? on the topic, this is a joke, Idra was scheduled to play up-and down matches anyway why not let him finish that and just get codeS? At least we would know if hes capable of beating Koreans.

He didn't behave: - "g" instead of "gg": I see this as a spit in the face - probe rushing In such a big tournament you just have to act professional, and he just can't. G is the easiest mistake in the world to make - I honestly couldnt give any less of a fuck. Probe rushing was a terrible choice, but unless he specifically broke some rule... And even then, it'd be a pretty severe punishment.

That would be pathetic, and I'm sorry, but I could not support that. I would rather watch professional wrestling... even that crap is a more legit sport or competition than this...

I'd personally be happy as a foreigner progamer that these invites happen because next time (Idra said he'd leave again) it could be me. (Won't be in my case, though ![]()

Players should be earning their way into what is supposed to be the most difficult and prestigious tournament anywhere. Sadly GOMTV isn't doing that well (at least not raking in the money). Getting Idra in will get more viewers (or at least the same viewers more consistently). Idra is really popular.

There is no precedent to remove NaNi at all There has always been a problem of match fixing and throwing games. You cant just go into a match and purposely loose that bad. If a team in a different sport through a game just as bad as Nani did they would have disciplinary action as well. You just cant do what he did and not expect the people running the tournament to be ok with it.

I'm curious what Idra and Sen have over other foreigners? What makes you so sure he didn't break any rules? Do you actually know all the GSL rules? I believe Wolf said he did, in fact, break a GSL rule.

In my mind the GSL has always been a fair tournament that has never made huge blunders but if Naniwa is removed then it is a huge mistake in my eyes. If GOM does nothing then it means more players will do that and more negative consequences. If Kespa was in charge Naniwa would have a significant punishment. GOM is in a crappy situation lots of people think it's no big deal and a lot of people want them to do something

Idra has no gg'ed in GSL and it wasn't a problem. I understand the korean culture is different, but i feel without a doubt that if someone else had done it that they wouldn't have taken such harsh measures, especially for a game without meaning. Naniwa shouldn't have done what he did, but this is being blown out of proportion.

I can see that it conflicts with his personal interests as a player, but having foreigners compete in a wild card tournament is a pretty bad idea: they need to be flown in, they'd need ample time to prepare so it's not random and the mini-tournament would need to organized over long period to be seen as valid by the fans. It might work for Koreans, but not for foreigners. I'd personally be happy as a foreigner progamer that these invites happen because next time (Idra said he'd leave again) it could be me. (Won't be in my case, though ![]() Do note Jinro has had invites for Code A but has declined it because he wants to earn it. Very honorable of Jinro to do so I can understand why he doesn't like this.
