Huk, then Haypro, and then Idra.
And I don't get the Sen thing. Why?
Then I have no clue what's going on.
If IdrA was the second highest non Code S player at the time of the tournament that doesn't have a Code S spot now then it'd be obvious something is going on with Naniwa.

Because they would have made pool play anyway. If anything one can make the argument that the seeding for pool play in MLG this year was ridiculous and undeserving for some players. That is why they are changing it for this coming year.
are you serious? they wouldve made it into pool play anyway? what a joke of a statement. yeah but u dontk now what there changing exactly its mostly gonna have the same concept anyways
How is it a joke statement when it is a fact that most Koreans make it out of pool plays anyway, unless they eliminate each others? With the exception of Alicia being eliminated by Tod and possibly a few others?
well idra was in code-s before he left to go back to the usa, so giving him a spot now that some one dropped out makes sense. However giving Sen code-s seems kinda shady, i know sen is pretty good, but all the koreans have to go through code-a, up and downs with the same qualifications as sen.
If you're going to give away Code S spots due to DQ, give them to highest ranking GSL players who aren't in Code S or give Naniwa's spot to the highest ranking Providence player who isn't in Code S who would be Huk/Haypro. Not Idra and Sen.
I'm really not a Naniwa fanboy, I actually can't stand him often times, but if GOM really removed him just to get Idra in for higher viewer numbers then I lost all respect for them and I hope Kespa will bleed Gom down...

Who is more deserving than Sen?
How about every fucking player in Code B/A that keeps trying hard every god damn season?
Edit: I'm glad for Idra and Sen, but they should have earned their way into the tournament through a wild-card tourney of sorts.
I'd say Sen is better than a lot of the Code B players and some A for sure
Giving out Code A/Code S spots to foreigners pays the bills. Let's not kid ourselves.
Further, Idra left his Code S spot voluntarily previously and even GOM has said they'd love to have Idra back. You don't make the "Idra has died" video without liking what he brings and having him around.
Lastly, given his MLG Orlando & Providence placings, it also makes logical sense to invite him as well. They need to fill someone in with someone missing, and the format for filling the other spots is already set.

Because Koreans take the spots of like...Incontrol. In this case GOM is screwing Koreans that have been busting their ass to attain Code S by just inviting people because their foreigners, and there are plenty of people in Code A that are better and deserve the spot more than Idra.
idra = ratings if i was mr chae i would done the exactly same thing but earlier. if koreans were busting there asses to attain code s they wouldve made it already
This definitely seems like the wrong move by GOM, especially if Naniwa is removed. If you want to remove players from your tournament for being unprofessional, you shouldn't arbitrarily give away the spot they earned. Idra getting a shot at the up & downs was more than enough - suddenly getting Code S without doing anything more to earn it is ridiculous.
It's even worse for Sen; he was never in Code S. There's no way to pretend he earned that slot =/ Why no wildcard tournament GOM?

That's silly.
Idra LEFT the GSL. Yes, it was on good terms, but he made the choice to focus in America. He should have to qualify.
Does this mean we should give Rain a spot back in Code S, too? What about LiveForever? He had to leave due to military. In two years when he returns, should we give him a handout?

gom didn't remove naniwa to get idra in for the number, gom removed naniwa because he dicked around in a match.
If it was Kespa instead of GOM, naniwa would have been BANNED from esport for life
