I've got very little respect for this kid both as a person and player. If he turned himself around and displayed change and the effort of doing so, my take would be different. I've seen zero change, and in some cases even a worse and more extreme attitude than before. My 2 cents.

Also. I think people blowing this out of proportion is just stupid. I would have probe rushed, or six pooled, or planetary rushed (maybe not this one) if I wanted to just leave. No big deal.

You don't see any sports team throw the last game of the season even if they know they won't make the playoffs. Sure, they will not put forth a 100% effort - but they still play the game to win. People love to win, and it appears that Naniwa only cares about winning money - no love for the game, just the cash. You do see teams play all their prospects in order to evaluate them in the one you described. That's only one scenario and I question effort. I've seen many players get into arguments with their coach, hence one of them had to go. -.-;; Players are in it to win? Yes and no. In Naniwa's case he only wants to win. He was already out of the tournament hence it didn't matter to him.

yes there are people that paid for the ticket but i honestly don´t think they got dissapointet by the other games naniwa played today. To be honest the games where very entertaining and showed again how good nani is eventhough he lost them. I personally can´t really get excited for a game where NOTHING is at stake for the players anymore. Keep fighting nani youre games where awsome, including the last one^^

Edit: from MC's twitter

Meaningless game or not for the tournament, it had a storyline to it. People would have been upset for sure if they didn't have them play the match for pride's sake. Also, "people are upset just because it's me that did it". Yes, no shit. Repeat offenders don't get off with the same punishment as first time offenders. This is like the 20th time in his career that something like this is happened.
