so true.
i hate those "best in the world" idiots, they destroy the whole picture of the player... Why does idra have so many haters? Because some of his fans are the most stupid and call him god of starcraft.
Stephano is good, top level foreigner, can compete with koreans. Isnt that enough? -,-

Thx you for you wise input in this thread. Im sorry im not born in an english speaking country but I do my best. I hope its good enough for most on these forums but apparently you standard is abit to high for me and im sorry.

its unimportant if he loses or wins. One side will post they were right the other will deny it. And that they will do after every game. The sad thing is that the haters actually just hate for hating. While the hypers just say awesome for the post count. Poor foreigner lovers and true fans, getting between those.

It would be, and it is for most people, but it's too fun for trolls to make accounts on TL and post "funny" things such as "stephano USA / stephano best in world at SC2", which intend to get a rise out of everyone else.

The only game he really lost was vs MVP he's been completly crush by MVP's mindgame. vs MC it was pretty close though

Personally I hope he goes to GSL. Him, Idra, Huk, and Naniwa could show some good games there. Crazy fanboy? plz go over all my post. I have never claimed Stephano to be the best in the world. The "by far the best foreigner" part of that post seems to me to be fanboyish. He hasn't won more tournaments than Huk for example and Huk does nothing but travel. There are plenty of foreigners up for top spot. Sen? Thorzain(less so lately), Idra is close, Naniwa(as much as I am not the hugest fan) is very good too. By far best foreigner? I'd disagree.

Stephano goin 2-2 ( the same result as MC) is an honorable performance.
The sad part is no more Stephano vs Koreans T_T

Travelling is an excuse. It means you lose time focusing on the game. A lot of players who have travelled a lot have said this.

Stephano can hold his own, it's a shame he has no interest in playing GSL.
Naniwa will advance tomorrow. Nestea and Polt won't.

Personally I think his understanding of ZvT is phenomenal. Same with his ZvZ. Still, Stephano's ZvP will hold him back until he makes some big improvements in that matchup. I think you could say the same for a lot of Zergs right now, though. ZvP just feels so volatile at the moment.

I've seen him hold this same push a lot of times with spines / queens / glings. Stephano early game often relies on his capacity to defend seemly lost situations, and to come out with a better economy / macro. It's very risky, sometimes it holds and it looks like he completely outclasses his opponents (Hero, DRG to a lesser extend today), sometimes it fails and it looks like he is completely outclassed (against MVP today, against Nestea on the ladder a few days ago), the truth is that it is actually very close each time and it depends a lot on the timings of each player.
