idra has already been in korea for 3 years for broodwar, clearly he didn't learn any manners there

He is older now. Were you more or less of a jackass at 17 years old?
He is extremely mellow now, I suggest you watch some interviews, his stream, etc before you comment on him "being a douche"

Well no, I haven't been to Korea.
But IdrA sure as hell has.
I'm pretty sure he knows that Korean culture is like.

I'm curious to see how much input Idra will have into the Slayer's terran players' builds. Having a great macro zerg to help out in developing a good ZvT build for MMA and Ganzi will be extremely fascinating to watch. Either way, good luck Idra, Puma, Huk! Kick some ass!
About damn time to have the Gracken back in GSL.

The point is that IdrA's lived in korea for 3 years and he was still notorious for his BM in 2010. He had rivalries with Clide, Zenio, Ensare, oGsGon to name a few. Chances of him "learning his manners" and how to "respect" are very slim.

except he has
if you see him approach any player that he respects, he immediately reverts to a korean style respect. idra bm's people who he feels doesn't deserve his respect. watch some videos of stuff and see how he talks about Bomber and other tip top players

Wow. Greg looks really, really happy

Idra going head long in to the very core of Terran-dom. May the Hive be with you sir.

wrong. He would never bm cj kids, hes not stupid. Also CJ kids were fine they practiced with him and everything. ESTRO was much less structured and he ended up playing ICCUP all the time because he was worse than the ESTRO players.

At least nowadays, he gg's in tournament matches more often than not.

you do realize he constantly threw around racist/cultural insults on korean ladder, as well as insulting the opponents family etc, and being an immature dumbass, only half a year ago right? i highly doubt he has completely removed his bad manner magically in half a year, although he definitely does seem better about it

Still, idra doesn't look like the type to make any friends. I dont see him making friends with anyone in slayers.. did he make any friends when he was on a BW team? Never heard.. he was always purposely left out by the koreans but he seemed to withstand through it all.
He got any pro-gamer friends? (Korean Pro-gamers that is)

Something tells me that the SlayerS Terrans are going to have really good ZvT really soon. Of course, I wonder what the SlayerS Terrans are going to do for IdrA? IdrA is already probably the best macro zerg in the world ZvT especially now that the Raegu is not the monster we once knew him as. I think he needs more help with his ZvP and ZvZ, something I'm not sure SlayerS can provide too much of/as much of compared to other teams. Still, it IS Korea, and a full roster of powerhouse players compared to EG's mere three should give him some improvement anyways.

Lol, this is such a gem! IdrA definitely needs to be more cheese-proof and tilt-proof even if he loses a game to cheese.

he speaks his mind. what's the problem with that? he shows respect for people who he thinks deserves it. what else is he supposed to do? rave about everyone he meets?
