not too surprised... seemed like it was a big name pickup for quantic (which i dont blame them at all for dont get me wrong), but IM didnt really seem to gain too much from it. best of luck to both quantic and IM in the future! They did gain accommodations and travel expenses abroad. That was the gain for IM.

At least both sides were professional about it so as not to cause a shitstorm on the forums. lololol i was thinking the same thing its like there was a sudden hype in the foreigner-korean marriage but.... end up it was just a fad... and they wanna break up

QxG just couldn't afford to start a 'shitstorm' with IM. And IM seems to be too professional to engage in any of this. i do feel though...QxG sort of rose based on this IM deal (convinced destiny/sase to join)...so probably will be scrambling to for another big anouncement. oh and i feel sorry for the fanboys who bought QIM/QxG shirts b/c of the koreans lol.

![]() This was fast and unexpected, I'm hoping we'll still see a lot from IM here in the States. :D

I hope not though, its all kinda sad. They did gain accommodations and travel expenses abroad. That was the gain for IM. Hm i don't think IM will slow down participation in foreign tournaments. I mean between Nestea/MVP ripping it up it felt like both sides were getting what they wanted. I wonder why

OR maybe Destiny plans on taking his child to Korea in an apartment rather than a team house. Yeah, that's definitely it. Destiny didn't want to go to korea to get good, he just wants to move their to get better internet for his stream. That must also be why he switched to own3d.tv, because they have less lag in other countries. Who cares if they did? Quantic was a no-name, and low income gaming organization. If anything this partnership gave them the publicity they needed to get off the ground in SC2.

There is a language barrier, after all. The team house is mostly just good for free food and free cleaning.
