many pro gamers use this setting because it's easiest on the eyes to distinguish all the units and everything looks clearer. simplifiedCloaking=0 simplifiedShaders=0 set those 2 settings in the variables text and you get this major improvement on forcefields as they are kinda hard to see on lowest shaders ![]() ![]() | ||

1. I'll turn off simplified shaders to fix Forcefields and Cloak 2. I'll lower the CPU intensive stuff. 3. If things are too dark, you can tweak gamma settings in-game BTW, my setup is im on an AMD890GX Mobo with onboard HD4290 graphics and a Phenom2 1090T. So my pc is kind of strong on the CPU side but weak on the graphics. | ||

It might have to do with watter effects or fog effects somewhere in the map. Lets try to tweak it from there. What's your setup BTW? | ||

But yeah the guy on the 1st page nailed it pretty much everything you need to know : set everything on low except simplifiedcloaking/shader on 0. You get what most pros uses (or so i think) | ||
