There are too many "unfortunate coincidences" with this tournament to say it was all just "poorly managed". It was a clearly a scam from the start. There is no doubt in my mind that what you say is 100% the Truth. Too many Coincidence thing's don't add up Dozens of incriminating Accusations.. Don't know how anyone supports him especially after this YJY :"I've been hearing shit from other people inside his team and out" YJY :"That he never wanted(me) to fly in the first place" YJY :"but when i spoke to him he gave me his word" YJY :"yeah but im going to be very smart about this" YJY :"i want the sponsors to see bad publicity" Gus AKA(WitchDoc) :"GL with that" TL;DR Don't give him the Benefit of the Doubt

I really feel bad for everyone involved, but I really REALLY feel bad for NEXSickness, as he's a recent recruit of Team AZK, and now he's going to probably suffer for this without one shred of involvement.

People were claiming blizzcon was the worst tournament ever too, when people who were actually there had access to 40x the number of games and were able to watch the actual players play (basically just a security guard giving 5 feet between you and about 20 pro matches going on that weren't on the main stage). People shat on Blizzcon because of their poor choice of matches to put on stream, and the fact that the map pool was horrible. Apparently everything bad that happened is true? There is the tweet about gus paying the hotels bills now, apparently. I've also never seen someone just get shat on so hard after giving an apology. Quite surprising. I was one of the persons who was urging calm in the other thread, but he is getting shat on because he gave a very poor apology with no explanations to the numerous accusations thrown at him + his seemingly arrogant character (not arriving to the venue till 3pm, walking around with a tag saying BOSS and taking credit for organization). At this point there's no real point defending or accepting his apology until he pays for the bills and what he owes. Defending him will only get you into a flamewar with people (which was what happened to me yesterday, even yesterday, when details were still sketchy). And even after that, I don't think he belongs in e-sports anymore frankly. Even if someone gave him a chance, there's just too big of a reputational damage.

I feel bad for everyone that was thrown under the bus, by gus. Not only the innocent players, but also fans who were disheartened.
