I know this is speculative but what if the only reason Gus apologized to YoonYJ and offered compensation was because YoonYJ was one of the more vocal individuals that stood up and actually provided large enough evidence (evident in the SCSEA thread)? And getting YoonYJ to pretty much say he's okay for the moment is a way to get IPL to send that remaining 50%?

I by no means have forgiven Gus whatsoever. I am waiting for him to fix the immediate damages he has caused to the people in the Phillipines. I have put those people before my compensation.

Organizing an event of this size is difficult. No matter what anyone says. And he seems to have run into every possible problem (internet issues, pc issues on top of everything else).

The fucking nerve of that fucker. He had the nerve to take credit for something he had absolutely no input in! He didn't even recognize the community full of students and people with work who got disenchanted in the first day, but pooled through to go to the event JUST SO IT WONT LOOK SO EMPTY.
Then he proceeds to create this thread. Puts his own clanmates in danger of going to jail. God, I wish someone would just get it over with and deal with this guy.
The stream didn't even get tested til an hour before the event.

Just thought I'd clear that up since he used my name in the OP.
I get that people say that AZK members had no idea of the crooked dealings of Gus, but after the viOlet thing, and this, and a few other incidents, I think it's time for the AZK name to be perma-banned in the community. The members who did nothing wrong should form a new team, and the current name and all remaining members should be blacklisted. This is beyond underhanded and shady from a team that just keeps churning out bad press.

I feel really bad for you and AZK for the damage that was done for this event. Plz know that the community knows it was gus's fault, and not AZK i feel that you guys worked your ass off, and im very sad that gus handled everything so terribly. i wish you and those effected the best.
last we heard from TGR is that he helped clive pay for the hotel bill coz he has a meeting and didn't want to leave clive alone with the bill. still no word on where gus is :/

I can almost assure you the entire team knew this was going to be a cluster fuck. Anybody directly involved would have known. Plenty of people are to blame for this. Gus is a fucking douche and is obviuosly where all the hate should be directed, but he did not do this on his own. A single person would not be capable of fucking this up entirely on his own. He had associates, people other then himself must have known how much money was coming in, and where it was coming from. What it was being spent on etc etc.
