So lately I'm having some problems with my accuracy. Mouse sensibility is not the problem, I can use both high and low speed well If I stick to it for about 1 week.
Ok, so accuracy means you can click a button in SC2 without looking at the screen, means you can click trough the chat and friend list buttons without "moving the cursor backwards".
So I went to my friend's house, when I sitted on his table, his mouse was a razor imperator, a huge mouse that doesnt even fit my "claw-grab" style. But I could click easly on one zergling. I could scroll-click trough the chatchannels and mineral patches. BUT: his table was smaller that mine (in height)
I came to the conclusion that table height makes a big difference on accuracy. So what is your table's height?
TL;DR Do you think table height matters to mouse accuracy? What is the height of your table?

So you use a completely different mouse, on a completely different computer set up and come to the conclusion it must be table height.... :D
Sounds like you have mouse acceleration turns on at home and your mate has it off.

StarCraft doesn't have any control over the mouse acceleration settings, it's under 'enhanced pointer precision' in the windows mouse settings.
Mouse acceleration increases or decreases the acceleration at which your cursor will move, depending on how fast you physically move the mouse.
Some people love it, some people hate it, personally I find it adds another pointless variable to mouse control and disable it.

We both have no acceleration. Let's not talk about my problem, let's talk if you think and don't think table height matters to accuracy.
I don't want this thread moved to blogs because people kept talking about my way to describe accuracy

There's no way to tell without using the exact same setup except with different tables (and adjusting monitor height to stay the same height relative to your head. Mechanically there is nothing to suggest that a lower arm angle would results in higher mouse accuracy.

Lower arm angle creates less tension and stress to the shoulders though. Its a more ergonomic posture. Maybe this is why he felt he had more control? Simply because he is having a more comfortable posture.

its harder to grab the mouse when the table is too high. Try puttin your mouse above some books. Don't forget that your elbow will have to be higher too.

Try his nice mouse on your setup and vice versa. I bet it's the Razer and psychology. Seeing as most table heights are not adjustable I cannot vary this parameter easily to validate your theory. I can, however, adjust my seat height and all I know's is that the 'crouching rhino taking dump' position does not help me.

There is no way to tell what height you should have, best is around 72-76 cm ( ergonomics ). You should also get good chair. Don't think about speed, accuracy, think about health.

I feel the table height makes a huge difference. I've felt this way since the Counter Strike days. I place a couch pillow on my chair so my elbows are slightly higher then the table top. My chair is already as high as it goes. I'm 6'0 tall so it's not that I'm super short.
It's my comfort zone and makes a difference for ME, that's all I know.

I find that table height is extremely important. I have moved multiple times recently and I find that a table too high really sucks and a table too low is even worse. You want something that you can rest your forarms easily. for me that is like 15-20 inches below my shoulder height.
Edit: Also a chair is extremely important, I find that if my legs are at too much of an angle it will mess w/ me. If I can't touch the ground then that is also a problem.

what is the relevance of the height of the table if you don't know the height of the chair?
