On the other hand, a game with as "bad" graphics as BW could never have success in places like US and West EU, and SC2 has potential to be an amazing game in its own right, and can only achieve the best it can be when the best players are playing it ie Bisu/Jaedong/Flash. On the other hand, I guess it's a shame that SC2 won't develop its own Korean heroes for a long time if many of the BW greats switch over. I would love to see a unique and different sub-culture and, well, mythology/legends grow up around SC2, but I suppose this is a classic example of not being able to have the best of both worlds. All in all, a bittersweet shift from the mature, legendary Brood War to the growing but still relatively childlike SC2. I can only hope for a great future for ESPORTS. | ||

I just can't wait for sc2 players to get the respect they have earned. But who knows what's going to happen in the next couple years, could bw pros come and win everything? For sure, could sc2 players develope a work ethic that rivels bw player? Without a doubt. Only time will tell, I'm just sick of people bashing on sc2 | ||

I would say it's like Federer during his reign of terror, winning every single Major, dominating Wimbledon. Then Rafa comes along and eventually dominates Federer. You can say it's because Federer won the alltime record, so he's not as hungry as he used to be. You can say it's the injuries, the wear on his body. Still, to Jinro's point, it would be ludicrous to call Federer "second rate". Legends deserve respect, and Nada is definitely a legend. | ||
