I never expected that my Japanese tweets translated into English, I was so surprised but I'm so glad if it made you have interest to Japanese SC2 scene
As for "Europeans become fatter", of course I didn't mean for every Europeans. I meant a few Europeans in the TV show I've seen, I saw very smart/beautiful men/women becomes 2-3 times fatter when they got older. just joking
I'd like to introduce some Japanese SC2 site. of course it's all Japanese though.
Starcraft2 Japanese Community(SJC), this is biggest tournament and community site in Japan. sometimes they do offline tournament as well. http://starcraft2.jpcommunity.com/sc2/
Starcraft-times, this is greatest sc news site in Japan. sometimes they went to Korea and translated the interview into Japanese. http://sc-times.net/
Though my English is a littler poor, If you have any questions about Japanese SC2 scene, I'd like to try to answer it. Thank you

Isn't that why they made Stacraft for N64 ? LOL. Their pro gamers are either console or arcade dwellers.
Nice read. The japanese have a similar way to cheer by saying ファイト、ファイト!(fight, fight ! instead of fighting)

He seemed like a very calm person. His mood was surprisingly similar to breek. His body was impressive and it felt like he fit into the competition area very naturally."
lol i had to laugh hard about him saying europeans are fat
he seemed really impressed by the friendliness of the players at the event which makes me think he expected a bunch of assholes which is kinda surprising to me
