I don't think it's a surprise that their coverage of SC2 esports began at Blizzcon rather than a domestic tournament. While domestically there is some shame about the esports industry (compared to physical sports), the foreign affinity for Korean esports is something to be proud of, evidently. This is actually hypocritical rather than merely self-gratituitious as with the K-pop, random Korean actors in a Hollywood movie or popular American drama etc
