This year the BlizzCon opening ceremony and tournaments are free on the stream! Last year you could only see the SC2 & WoW tournaments for free. I guess blizzard has some big announcements to make this year so they are making the opening ceremony for everyone so more people can see.
BlizzCon 2011 begins tomorrow, and you’ll be able to watch the opening ceremony and the action on the World of Warcraft and RTS tournament stages streaming for free at www.blizzcon.com/live-stream/. DIRECTV subscribers in the U.S. can also catch the opening ceremony for free on the Audience Network. Pre-show coverage begins Friday at 10:30 a.m. Pacific, and the opening ceremony is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.. Tournaments run throughout both days of the show -- check out the BlizzCon schedule for details. If you’re interested in watching these in high-def and getting over 50 hours of BlizzCon coverage, including developer panels, the costume contest, the closing concert with Foo Fighters, and more, you can still purchase a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, which also includes this year's World of Warcraft pet and to-be-revealed StarCraft II in-game gift. The Virtual Ticket also lets you watch on-demand replays of any coverage you might have missed. We’ll be updating BlizzCon.com, our Twitter feeds, and our Facebook pages with news, photos, and more from the show, so we’ve got you covered pretty much anywhere you go. See you at BlizzCon!

Boubouille, the owner of MMO-Champion, the biggest WoW fansite, hinted on Reddit about some huge announcement. However, he is a known troll.

I assume the "to be revealed Sc2 ingame gift" is HotS related. Since they are so secretive about it. Interesting

They're going to announce the next WoW expansion, so they probably want as many people as possible to see it.

Now you know our pain.

Correction, add +2 for CEST, +1 for BST, -4 for EDT, -7 for PDT.

Meh, I'm gonna watch the opening ceremony, then the tournament.
if I can somehow find a restream of the rest I might catch up in the meantime, between games or during wow arena.
Before people jump on me for being an ugly pirate or whatever, 30 euros for a fucking stream is NOT WORTH IT. The entire gstl across 3 months costed less. Think about it.
They can sell it at this price point because wow collectors want the stupid pet or something. I wish there was the possibility to buy the hd stream for like 10 euros, without pets portraits or all of that kind of bullshit. There isn't, so pirate is the way to go.
30 euros/40 dollars is a robbery.

LOL. Lets get real for a moment, Blizzard is not exactly know for their speedy development process. Yes. But they are known to deliver best selling Products. Plus: There is no real Proof Titan is Blizzard's newest MMo. They are also known to lie, to keep secrets safe.

Titan is the new MMO. That's pretty much all we know about it.

The starcraft 2 games will be on a free stream like last year, or I mix up with something else ?

opening ceremony was free last year as well. they aren't stupid the opening ceremony is a huge marketing ploy for Blizzard and upcoming titles. Why would they charge people for watching the opening ceremony?
that would be like paying for viewing commercials.

Tournament stream and opening ceremony was free last year and the year before it as well...
