Though I agree, if the poll was based around results Idra would definitely be up there.

Edit: but I do agree he doesnt deserve the number one spot atm. True, that the problem with this thread. Because SC2 is Internation, different communities will name different people Because SC2 is currently a top ESport, people will choose on the polls their favorite instead of the actualy 'best' in terms of either 'talent' or 'results'. Thorzain, Huk have to be the top 2, theres no denying it in terms of 'results'. Fenix/Sase are in positions to show the world what they got, and could be new 'top players' soon. Your correct about KAS, and i hope what I said doesn't belittle him. He is def top 3 EU Terran id say. He also took home some good monies on the SK Koth besting MC and winning the most. The volatility of the game from month to month makes it extremely hard. I also mentioned stephano above and his raw talent. When these polls come into play, you cant tell if people are voting for 'who could be the best' or 'who currently is best because of results'. I agree right now that the people who seem to have the most raw 'talent' are not the ones who are currently the 'top'. Next month they could be though ![]()

Idra hasn't been performing well lately, whilst Stephano has been beasting it up defeating a lot of great koreans in a recent online tournament and is looking unstoppable on ladder with a 95% win rate in the last three days. Though I agree, if the poll was based around results Idra would definitely be up there. IdrA, ret, kas, Sen, nor Huk have "done well" lately. Their last results were all what, 2-3 months ago? Then you have Stephano. Does ladder success or small EU bnet tourneys count as "Results"?

Can anyone who follows the foreign scene closely tell me why Ret is still in the running? He demolished the EU Blizzard invitational. Other than that he's flying pretty low under the radar.

Pft, Deezer beats them both EZ. Really though, I voted for Thorzain since he´s very consistant atm. However I dont think the game is nearly old enough to judge who is truly good. For instance, Idra plays terribly atm but was a god half a year ago. That´s half a year, do you understand how little time that is?

He defeated both ThorZaIN (ThorZaIN called it "rape" lol) and Naniwa and went on to win the tournament. It seems like if Ret's motivated enough he can beat almost anyone.

1. You don't have half as many people that should be up there. 2. You have people who will never reach that title so why they are up their is because of you. 3. Hundreds of these polls exist and accomplish nothing. 4. For everyone saying IdrA shouldn't be on that list your stupid, hes the best foreigner in the world with accomplishments and general skill level being unsurpassed by any one of those players. He's an American which will and always has made him a foreigner.
