I'm a fanboy of Stephano, and I consider him capable of being the best foreigner easily. But currently? No. Let him prove himself a bit more. I also hope he gets his ass to some major tournament, or even better, Korea.

Thorzain and Mana have proved themselves over and over again. And Mana is quite possibly the best on-form PvT around, including Korea.

you guys have no clue, i watch streams every day and I'll tell you now that the best player outside korea is either spanishiwa or destiny!
The truth is, Yagami-kun, I suspect that you may in fact be Kira.

Stephano has achieved significantly less that 60% of people on that list, I have no idea how he has grabbed so many votes.

Its much like Naniwa became an instant fan when he went like 30+ Box's in a row without losing. Stephano recently shows alot of success on ladder and a few online cups, so attention has reverted to him. He will either start to dominate, or slip back into nothingness.

Its kinda like KAS. KAS was expected to be like a 'god' from alot of the EU community. He is def good, but got super overhyped and shit.

Huk is the best foreigner... he is code S lol.
Stephano beated mma puzzle mkp but in an offline tournament (right?), that doesnt mean anything, or well he is good but i think that koreans play so bad in offline tourneys.

because the question is "who do you think is the best foreigner?" and not who achieved the most.

a month is a very long time in sc2. you can go from hero to zero in just 1 month so it's hard to say. i don't think any foreigner is winning a tournament if an elite korean terran is invited. huk's results were a long time ago. i'm going to have to go with thorzain right now.

I could have sworn in an numerous interviews he's in the US solely for the purpose of school, or it was his purpose until SC2 came out. It's not the same as DDE being korean and living in Canada(going off the assumption he was born in Canada but his ethnicity is Korean.)

At that time Kas was probably the best TvT player in europe.
And stephano keeps kicking ass all over.. its getting pretty scary.

Edit: but I do agree he doesnt deserve the number one spot atm.

Then the question isn't a good one.

The best foreigner of when? Last 2-3 months? Since release? Since last month?

For results and prestige alone, theres no denying Huk here.

That being said, I really like select.

My head hurts from such confusing arguments and counter arguments when there isn't a consensus on what is counted and what isn't.

If that's in support of Naama being a good foreigner then Idra is better if not the best as during that time he consistantly beat Koreans placed well in Code S and won MLG

Oh, I thought the criteria was bad enough by itself, I didn't know it was supposed to be slimmed down to be even worse.

I voted (T)ThorZaIN, I truly believe he plays the best starcraft 2 of all foreigners, but I'd add a few things.

-Most accomplished: (P)HuK
-Best "up and coming": (Z)Stephano
-Highest potential: (Z)DIMAGA

Best Terran: (T)ThorZaIN
Best Zerg: (Z)Stephano
Best Protoss: (P)HuK

Undeserving in that list: (Z)IdrA
