Though I agree, if the poll was based around results Idra would definitely be up there. IdrA, ret, kas, Sen, nor Huk have "done well" lately. Their last results were all what, 2-3 months ago? Then you have Stephano. Does ladder success or small EU bnet tourneys count as "Results"?
Ladder doesn't equal results. SC2 is only slightly over a year old. So breaking down 'whos the best' in terms of like 3 month brackets would actually be reasonable, if TL could vote without bias, which we can't.
Stephano is the best foreign Zerg.
Sen would like to speak with you. I know alot of people are becoming big fanbies of his because of IPL and a 3 day winning streak on ladder, but really, think about the big picture.

Wow, I am surprised idra is on top of the doesn´t belong list but yeah i would have to agree with that. I thought that his fanbase would vote for him more.
I think Either Thorzain and Huk are now competing for the top foreigner spot. Europeans like Stephano and Dimaga need to compete in more Korean filled tourneys for me to judge but they are pretty good. I wish the European scene wasn´t so isolated they have so many good players.
naniwa would be a good contender but I think his mental state is kinda weak atm. I hope he can continue improving but he just seems so depressed.
Edit: Oh forgot all about Sen,he can really be a good contender too

people voting for idra makes me cringe inside T_T
Huk is pretty impressive, his matches from GSL shows he's pretty good, he got my vote. Thorzain nice aswell

1. You don't have half as many people that should be up there. 2. You have people who will never reach that title so why they are up their is because of you. 3. Hundreds of these polls exist and accomplish nothing. 4. For everyone saying IdrA shouldn't be on that list your stupid, hes the best foreigner in the world with accomplishments and general skill level being unsurpassed by any one of those players. He's an American which will and always has made him a foreigner.
the reason why those threads are pointless are fanboys without any knowledge of the game like u.

The problem with polls and questions like this is there is no thread wide consensus nor is the question specific enough.
What counts as good results and what counts as outdated results? Are we talking about all time #1 foreigner of all of SC2 or recently? What constitutes as recently? 2 - 3 months? 6 months? Is winning tournaments with Koreans in considered better than winning tournaments without Koreans? How much credibility can be given to online wins against Koreans?
Having sat through the whole Ret best foreign zerg ever posts during the EU Blizzard invitational they were all problems I noticed in the discussion.

Really?
Jinro is easily the most accomplished foreigner. He won a MLG and made it to the GSL semifinals twice and one of those semifinals was beating Idra 3-1 in the quarterfinals. No way Jinro is in the Top 15 right now, but his accomplishments are the best out of any foreigner until someone else can make a Code S semifinal or at least not let the Koreans take every top spot at MLG.

I feel like Ret and Idra have the potential to be the best (and maybe stephano). Idra just needs to get control of his emotions. Right now? The obvious choices are Thorzain and Huk. Oh, and we cant forget about Major training in korea. We need to see how that turns out

Ok, Ill say it again the last 2 major EU lans Stephano placed higher then Huk and even took 3rd place at Assemply summer.
That people keep saying that Stephano is an online hero is just wrong.

Until someone else takes a code S spot, its going to be HuK.

well its up to you to decide on what u focus. some ppl go by pure results even if 1 year old, some by recent result, some acutally compare they play no matter where or what they play and judge by that.
€: acutally, the european scene isnt isolated at all - they compete in almost every NA tournament as well.
The problem is: the NA scene knows nearly nothing about the EU scene - the other way around we know much more i feel. thats how some ppl get highly under/overrated.

lol SaSe is event not top 50.

What's with all the IdrA hate?
|
Im pretty sure Huk is the best well rounded SC2 player in the foreign community. I think Thorzain has a stronger ability to win hard series tho. Whos best? I think it changes on a day to day basis. Stupid and boring answer I know

there is no idra hate, he just loses everything he attends in the last 2 months (although very recently, he shows some better games).
some ppl seem to ONLY see MLG and thats it... you find games between those topplayers every night in nasl, EG masters cup, smaller weekly cups and so on.

I don´t think people are hating on him. Its just that it feels like idra hasn´t performed up to his standards lately, while other foreigners have been doing pretty well. Take that as you wish but I honestly think idra has not been showing results someone would expect from ¨best foreigner¨.
Of course that is all opinion anyways.

SEn is the best, hands down, people who are voting diffrent I just wont understand. >.<

Then you can never get a definite "proper" answer I'm not sure if you care about having an actual proper discussion of best foreigner in which case you need to give guide lines for those things or if you just want people to fly in and say "Major has 70% Ladder TvT win" "Stephano is on 60 game win streak" "HuK is Code S and won Dreamhack and HSC" "Idra was Code S before it was cool"
