Actually, he doesn't deserve to win and as the OP says "at the moment" the only one who could call him the best foreigner is a diehard IdrA fan. It isn't just "an opinion" that IdrA isn't the best foreigner atm, currently it's a fact.

mana is incredibly underrated...
he's the most consistent european and he actually has proven himself on lan against koreans unlike players like idra who boast something like a 2-30 record ever since he came to america.

So many people saying Idra shouldn't be on the list... Sure he hasn't put up first or 2nd place results recently as many of us are expecting, but he still consistently is one of the top players at each major tournament. There have been many posts about the games Idra messed up at at MLGs but every single MLG since the start of the year he has places in the top of his pools (with the exception of last MLG where he still did 2-3 I believe). He's also been in Code S when he was in the tip top of his form in Korea, where he's going back to now. I admit, I do root for Idra everytime I see him play and am a fellow zerg so I am a little biased but his results still put him on top of foreign play.
Do I think he's the top foreigner? No way. But maybe 5th or 6th? Definitely. I think the order goes something like Huk, Thorzain, Sen, Naniwa, Dimaga, Idra, Stephano, Select, Ret, Mana,Sase, Kas. With Kas, Sase and maybe Mana being switched out for Morrow, Whitera and Nerchio/Jinro.

What has he even done recently? Anything? It's clear his talent slowly dropped off a cliff after he got back from Korea. He got slower, got figured out and the NA ladder is not doing him any favors.

If everyone on that list played everyone else on that list, IdrA would not be the one with the fewest wins, but by no means would he have that many either.

Yeah oh gosh, Mana is terribly underrated. I actually felt pretty uhh well not upset but I cringed when idra said he has no talent on one of DjWheat shows.
And yeah he has played and done well against plenty of Koreans. So many good people, but overall I still think Thorzain and Huk are the ones contending for the top foreigner spot.

If we're looking at it that way, Sen would be favourite to win because he's been consistent for all of SC2. Although HuK Ret and Thorzain would also be favourites.

Well. Most forigners that try korea are currently failing in the first round of code A vs rather mediocre koreans (Fruitdealer lol)
You may say what you want about huk, easy groups, lucky opponets bla bla bla, but the fact is he has remained code S. With protoss. That says it all for me.

Because the thread is not about who is the most accomplished, but who is the best/strongest foreigner AT THIS MOMENT. Jinro and IdrA both have not shown results lately and are definitely not top 10.
