Every one does. and here it does not have any serious consequences. There isn't much at stake, no big deal, no money loss... just promises and business honour (i.e. nothing). Of course, Col are disappointed, but no one is dead. In the case of a buying contract, it is my understanding that it is only 7 days. But I don't really understand all that legal business, so I don't care. I find Stephano's behaviour shameful, I'm completely on Col's side. Never been a Stephano fanboy, even though I'm french, and that sure is not going to happen now. Millenium also seems to have a very questionnable behaviour in the matter.

Not only that, the incident with the contract will certainly be a black mark on his career in the future. However, as the french would say... c'est la vie

Millenium had to sign a contract if they were that rich before complexity intervened.

A man's word should be his bond. Obviously, this doesn't work in the legal world and I understand if he finds a way to get out of the contract, that doesn't mean he'll regain me as a fan. If he really signed a contract and then just decided "eh, I don't wanna" that shows he is immature and can't be trusted. Not exactly the kind of personality that is very likable.

If anything, Complexity should have looked into the legal implications of signing a contract with a French citizen and been more discrete about the possible move. If they hadn't jumped the gun and announced that he was joining right away, this could have been avoided. You can't fault an 18yr who is being pulled from both sides for changing his mind, if said change is completely legal according to the law he is familiar with.

Makes sense that they don't want him flying around the world playing if they are the usual protective parents that don't really know what SC2 is ^^.
