Personally I'm sick of all the money thrown around to recruit top players from other teams. Build your own goddamn team and actually develop something instead of eye'ing the aces of other teams. Clearly these guys are incompetent coaches and have nothing except money. According to coL they had contact and counter offers with Millenium so what the hell are you talking about?

No. If I were to guess it'd be that yes. coL made an offer that Mill couldn't overcome and Stephano signs with coL, Mill decides to give in and make a big offer for Stephano. Stephano wants DAT MONEY and signs with Mill. I'm happy that coL won't give up without a fight, even though realistically they probably won't win. Ridiculous move by Stephano...

If he goes to Korea under coL of course.

That's not even close to 10x, which was the point he was trying to make. If you're going to breach a contract, it damn well be worth it and then some.

Sometimes even have someone "leak" info that one side is offering you more than they actually are to bump the price up. Except they don't actually sign a contract, change their mind, and allowed to the other team. Usually when this happens a player gets traded or bought out. Since I don't think you're allowed to trade a player (right?), Millenium would have to pony up money to buy out the contract to keep Stephano. Stephano is at the height of his popularity at the second. He just went through the IPL and beat some top Koreans to get there. He's getting a lot of hype and this was his best chance to cash it in. Based on the information we have so far, this. Seriously why else would he back out like...hours later?

Stronger Line up? While I'm sure people can disagree and agree with that, but coL has DRG and the entire MVP house, plus talented player such as Cruncher and Tri-Master, who while not be the greatest, could surely give stephano a run for his money. If Stephano really wanted to get better, CoL would be the better choice, they have connections in Korea where he could train and possibly become the greatest foreigner to ever grace Starcraft 2. Yet you say Millenium has a better line up? Millenium has a very talented Roster, boasting Adelscott, Tarson, and LaLush but Complexity has the stronger line up all around, and better connections.

The funny thing is, I kind of believe France would do something like that. That totally distorts the whole purpose of a contract. The time to think is before you sign.

Additionally to that: Why are so many people convinced of the fact that the contract is indeed legally binding when it comes to legal action? Because it has "contract" written on it?

Jason Lake has said they had been negotiating for quite awhile with Mill for Stephano.
