Bogus reasons to get rid of a player if ever I heard them...
So if I play tennis and go out to court in a plain tee instead of my sponsor laden shirt, swear at my opponent during warmup that's fine, and it's bogus to hold me in breach of contract and get rid of me?

Shortly after MLG Columbus Juan approached the team's management wanting a raise. The team's upper management felt it was inapproriate to raise his salary at the time; we told Juan we would be willing to entertain the conversation if he performed similarly at the next MLG. Juan did not respond well when informed that his salary would not be raised. He began immediately shopping around for other teams, and let our organization know that he was leaving. Juan had signed a fifteen month contract with Sixjax. He was contractually obligated to play for our team. Juan put up a fight for the next half week, refusing to play in clan wars and insulting management when contacted. After several days Sixjax's upper management contacted Juan personally and let him know that both he and his mother had agreed upon a fifteen month contract when he signed, and that it would be legally impossible for him to leave and join another team without being released from his contract. Juan resented the position of the team management, and insisted that he would find a way out of his obligations. He began mentioning to his teammates that he felt threatened. It wasn't until our team captain, Artosis, spoke to him that he gave up his position.
Yes, totally acceptable and normal behaviour and a "bogus" reason for getting rid of him
even if the conspiracy theories that SJG is lying is true, swearing at your own teammates makes for bad team ethic, and shows that major has bad attitude. And I doubt any team would really pick him up for such a reason, especially in a teamhouse setting.

Those `some jerseys` are actually what keep this scene alive. Sponsors want their name out there, teams have to make sure their players wear them whenever they go public. Thats what they agreed upon, and are paid for.
Also to add, before decrying importance of promoting sponsors, I needed some new memory recently and with no loyalty to the brand, or indeed any brand of memory, I decided to purchase Kingston HyperX because of IdrA constantly announcing EG's sponsors and the iNcontroL video.

It works, period.
Its top of the line memory and hell they dont pay me, any nerd knows this

Because IdrA is a better player. IdrA doesn't wine and complain on a regular basis about his team. IdrA doesn't go team shopping when he is on a team. IdrA isn't 15 years old.
IdrA also wears his team shirt in every appearance. Thanks his teammates and team managers regularly in interviews. Plugs all his teams sponsors religiously. Contributes additional content for EG, such as commentating games.
People may consider IdrA bad-mannered, arrogant, overrated, rude and even an asshole, but all indications suggest that he is an excellent teammate.
IdrA is emotional (despite preBM indications) and takes a lot (too much?) pride in his work. Resulting in those negative qualities to the outside. It also makes him a very valuable asset to any team and a very good teammate.
The occasional BM in no way diminishes what IdrA does for EG. MajOrs BM is terrible for his team.
Where is my post in the thread for Major being signed to sixjax, I think I was pretty much right on the money for how long he would last.
I would like to say that I'm surprised, but really I'm not, and yes sponsors are a big deal, there is a reason why players like Idra and Tyler name drop their sponsors whenever and where ever.
While major is a great player, he's shown on many different occasions that he's simply not mature enough to be a pro gamer. He's an embarisment to the sport. Starcraft 2 dsnt need people like major an I hope that teams thinking about picking him up will see this thread and talk to SJG about this and just stay clear of him until he grows up.

Indeed. Juan wanted out and he made it too easy for him to be kicked.

Really?
Well if you played tennis at a high level you would probably get more than 2 shirts that you were screwed if you lost. The swearing is silly in my eyes, swearing doesn't nessecarly means your angry, or are trying to be mean. I swear all the time, I swear when talking to my teacher and pretty much everyone in my life, so what? It's words and most swear words are very general and not words that points at a person. As an example I might say "Fuck I hate this god damn timing, so fucking hard to hold" and not slander the guy I am playing.
The lying about the shirts (really? lying about a shirt? just freaking say you lost them) is kinda bad because even if it's a pretty insignificant lie, lying is just not accepteble when your team needs to be able to take you at your word.
If you're going to fan the "BW is better than SC2" flames while making a salary playing SC2 you'll get no sympathy from me. I can tell Terran is a jerk just from hearing him say that in an mlg interview.
