Woo go Boxer, and all of the other players, every pro player gets props in my book. Just gotta have respect for someone who made it possible to live on an esports carreer.

This was my first thought after I saw the announcement that they are having a stronger relationship with MVP and on top of Fenix saying he was looking to stay there longer.

GL to where ever Fenix ends up. Almost feels like Fnatic is falling apart

Should probably include this qoute from ESFI (http://esfiworld.com/sc2/news/fenix-departs-fnatic):

Sam "zr0" Mathews, the Founder and Managing Director of Fnatic, also issued a statement:

It was great to have Fenix in the squad, and he has been a great player for us. Unfortunately we need to be striving towards having the best players in the world to match our ambitions for our team. Fenix lately hasnt been able to prove he has what it takes. So its time to part ways to make room for some new talent to enter our team. We will be picking up some players in the near future so stay tuned..

So sounds like it might not have been Fenix's choice in the end :/

fenix isn't anywhere near EG level. I mean Idra,Huk and Puma, so I dunno why every1 is trolling about that ;

Aren't your forgetting about Inc, Machine, axslav, strifecro and demuslim? Hes probably better than the first 4 and just as good if not better than Demuslim.

He won a ZOTAC like 3 months ago and finished 11th an MLG Columbus. That's about it.

He also won some games for F.United against TSL in the GSTL recently. Took down Clide in an epic TvT.

I wonder where he'll end up... My guess will be dignitas... For no particular reason.

Fenix is probably going to be picked up by a team in Korea where he will spend most of his time and energy-- maybe dignitas or mouz will absorb the rest of FOX/Fenix.

Or maybe mouz/dignitas will join together and absorb FOX/Fenix. It would make a good TV show

If they dropped Fenix because of poor results thats bizarre, I haven't been impressed by the non Rain/Sen part of Fnatic's roster for months now.

I heard of a certain situation regarding Fenix, but I don't think it would be right to post it unless the managers or players did so themselves.

lol wtf? fnatic real dumb. i get that this is probably an announcement which will be followed up with "fenix to team x who paid him more!" but the truth is, without sen, and with tt1 not performing up to his true potential, and with fenix training in korea, they really needed him on their team to stay as relevent as they have been in SC2. with sen gone they should have more money to pay a player, so i hope that they're going to make good use of that and pick up someone who is serious business.

edit: brainfart from 3 hours of sleep and 24 hours plus awake, derp they have rain. nonetheless, tt1, rain...? for a team that was coming out of the gates strong in SC2, they dropped gretorp because of his casting, sen because of personal reasons, and now fenix because of ??? and they pick up rain. overall i'd say they'll get slightly better results but they don't feel very strong as a team. jf has been extremely quiet, and kawaiirice and nightend are good players in general but they're not winning tournament players. idk i guess it's just disappointing to me because i always considered fnatic a scary team in SC2 and they're just not that big of a deal anymore, they've turned into the other teams that have a couple beastly players with some practice partners.

Fnatic's roster is looking rather bleak. The only top player they have is Rain. TT1 has always been "okay", but never good. His last accomplishment was being beaten by Destiny at the previous MLG. But to be honest I am glad fnatic is failing. A team that denies Sen to play in a league, does not deserve to keep their players.. they totally fail at management in my eyes. They should just get out of the sc2 business.

This is kinda good... i mean tt1 and fenix were getting kinda stale. Sen leaving fnatic was the huge hitter, but with fenix leaving and rain joining, it makes up for so much more. Now they need to kick out lefnaij, i mean i never seen the guy play he doesnt do shit lol

Fenix was a bit inconsistent but at his highest level he had a chance to beat any foreigner. Too bad for fnatic

Fact is, we can't always tell you everything yet, as it might upset parties or the entire deal. I don't know about others, but we are giving out the information we can. We can also say nothing about future signings too and leave you wondering about what will happen with our team, but I guess some info is better than none at all.

And obviously, we're a business, so we want to get as many hits and views, etc. out of it as possible, by giving a press release in the best possible manner, and not half-done.

Not entirely true. Due to his results it wasn't worth investing in him as much as we did. We offered him something else and he didn't accept.

I guess. I see a lot of people saying guess what we will announce, big announcement incoming, my next tweet will hold a big announcement, etc. I know hype is important as a business, but I think the actual moves will hype themselves in most cases. For example, when you signed NightEnD or Rain it was hyped by itself .

I'm not sure who does that, but we try not to go that far. We're just saying we're going to add new players so we don't leave you in the dark and that you know we're trying to move forward, and not backwards. I think our new additions will show our ambition.

I went through and compiled all the posts from the Fnatic Manager regarding this, for easier viewing.

The way that article is worded is a little shallow. You do not need to comment on how his performance dropped off. When you make an article about how you part ways amicably you do not add in trash like "Ya he started to suck". Leave that stuff out, thanks.
