He's going to search for a team that can support him the way he needs. I feel that the problem of the fair value of a SC2 player is going to rise again in the future. SC2 is a very volatile game, with a fast changing metagame. In a matter of months, a player can be the best and then suffer of a really huge slump (like Jinro). Therefore, you have plenty of players with championship bells and no way to say who's better than who. HuK is paid 187000/year (at least, that's the rumor). What that this means for the other players? Naniwa, Thorzain or Sen are on the same level of HuK, or at least, have a shot at attaining that level. How much money should they win? By giving so much money to HuK, i think EG destabilize the market of SC2 pros, as they are a lot to legitimately think that they should get a huge pay rise. Problem is nobody is sure about who deserves the huge money. I wish it was possible, but i don't think that the pro-teams have the money to pay these these high 6 numbers salaries yet. MyM tried it, and failed.

So now we get countdowns to announcements, people saying cryptic things, etc. This is at least what was being implied by the original person saying "What Lebron started." Teams need to stop hyping shit and just tell you what is going to happen... Ya I understand what the first person said, but I wasn't responding to him. Also regardless of what you think people love the hype. A lot of people put a lot of time into the Huk to EG thing, and a ton of people were following it. Also "The Decision" had huge ratings, and even though the media condemned it afterwards, they were the ones who built it up and got him to do it in the first place.

I see a lot of people saying guess what we will announce, big announcement incoming, my next tweet will hold a big announcement, etc. I know hype is important as a business, but I think the actual moves will hype themselves in most cases. For example, when you signed NightEnD or Rain it was hyped by itself ![]() I'm not sure who does that, but we try not to go that far. We're just saying we're going to add new players so we don't leave you in the dark and that you know we're trying to move forward, and not backwards. I think our new additions will show our ambition.

They may have some room in the budget with the deal meant for Huk and Fenix could want to stay in Korea. I was wrong about the HuK swap, but I'm fairly certain he'll find a home somewhere else.

And otherwise EG -> Korean EG house. But because EG house is gonna happen from October and on, I don't see this happening as Fenix wants to stay in Korea and his current place (we made fox) is going to disband in a week. So I expect news within a week time of Fenix' new plans. Just speculations.
