Grubby has not shown any recent improvement, whereas QXC has gone to Korea, trained in Korea, participated in a Korean league, etc. He's a much better player than he was during Season 1
I watched Grubby yesterday play, he has made some huge improvements. Maybe not won any tournament or so but his skill level has deffinetly increased.

Well there was a drama about Nightend in season 1 where he was accepted and then he was rejected 1 week later for not having a visa. I guess now he can finally play... few months later!

Well to be honest i was already wondering why qxy isn't participating at the NASL , Huk & Jinro is a cool addition to the League because both are such nice Players and NightEnD & Lowely well.. let's see what they can do ( :

I think QXC will be returning to university studies pretty soon. FXO did mention something along this line.

Not shure if this is the best place to ask, but I think it's still relevant enough:
Based on the liquipedia page, it says that ThorZaIN declined his spot in NASL, can anyone comfirm this not being just an editting error? And also if so, why he declined his spot? :-/

Edit: whoa, same goes for Naniwa?! I must be really behind on some news.

NASL should rework it's basic concepts
Lower prizepool and number of players, make a tighter tournemant with better production values.
Anyway, really hope to see QXC's resurgence!

I think everyone knows who we want to see!
ARTOSIS!!
|
|
Hopefully they invite some of the guys that were so close to qualifying but didn't coz they lost to Koreans. Like Demuslim/Bubbles(Think he lost to thorzain?) and many others. Don't want just star names who don't perform!@

Let's be honest- they let him in because he's a fan favorite. In my eyes however, that's completely acceptable. Shades of season 1 invites isn't it? Hopefully he does better than the two of the fan favorites from then: Artosis / Grubby. Moon did great though (but he wasn't an unknown factor when NASL 1 was announced, even if people still acted surprised he did well). It's fine to invite Jinro, but don't try and say it's based off current success, which it's not. Just send us the list of names...
Guys, it DOESN'T say Jinro's inclusion is based off current success, it says PAST success, and he has been successful in the PAST.

I'm glad to see somebody from the qualifiers make it in, but I would rather see another impromptu tournament to fill all the spots. :\

Yes LOWELY :D coolest foreigner :D
|
Some seemingly bad people will be on the list...because there's not really 50 Good players outside Korea.
But ya, I'd rather see something more open. Part of the good things about NASL missing the Koreans is that we could have a chance to let unheard of talent show up.
|
After letting Artosis play in season 1 even though he had basically zero SC2 credentials, I don't think NASL should be overly concerned with only having players there who "earned" it. I would be much more likely to watch games with famous or well-known players rather than just the latest people to creep into the top 100. Is Destiny a top-tier player? No. Do I want to watch him in a big-time tournament like NASL? You bet. NASL needs viewers. GSL is for the best players. It's fine with me if they are two different types of events.

That doesn show anything! If mediocre foreigners win against bad foreigners... If a foreigner wins NASL S2 he gets roflstomped by a CodeB Korean in the following week. To show some talent a foreigner needs to beat koreans!
|
Excuse me but what success had jinro had as of late? Dont get me wrong he is a good player, but recently its painful to watch him play at the GSL

Guys get Grubby for season 2!

Yeah no offense to Destiny but Grubby demolished him yesterday, his HT micro was godly. Would love to see him against the current pros.
Oh and my prediction, White Ra takes it.

Havin Nightend is...well deserved justice - nice to see that everything finally has been worked out
|
So with NASL reducing the number of total players this season to 45 that leaves 11 positions remaining by my count. The number stands currently at 12 T, 9 Z, 13 P so I think they need more Zergs.
