Let's be honest- they let him in because he's a fan favorite. In my eyes however, that's completely acceptable. Fair enough, but they did that with Artosis in NASL1. I think that a few fan favourites is good for the competition, as it gets more people into it, regardless of...."production quality"...

The number stands currently at 12 T, 9 Z, 13 P so I think they need more Zergs. So here is an overview of the suggestions I have seen so far. Note: Added some Chinese players, would be cool to see at least 1 Chinese player invited. And please don't think I have anything against Jinro, I love his style of play and it was great seeing him get that far into GSL, but right now I just don't think he is in his best moments of play. I'm just saying that they are using false information on their site about Jinro, that's all.

Watching someone get decimated every week like easy AI doesn't really "get more people into it". Even fans didn't watch Artosis and Grubby games. It's like a Diamond league KOTH, the matches just aren't relevant.

But Jinro is actually good, he hasn't had the same success as his GSL runs but he's training full time and has been since release, which you couldn't say for Grubby or Artosis. I bet Jinro can kick some foreign ass, especially since he doesn't have to worry about GSL so he can dedicate his time to NASL.

At least the later half of the league he actually played really well and just got unlucky and couldn't close any series off. He often lost 1-2.

(P)EG HuK -Based on success (T)Liquid`Jinro - Based on of success (T)FXOqxc - Based on recent resurgence (aka Jedi All Kill) (Z)IMBALoWeLy - Based on qualifying tournament (P)FnaticMSI NightEnD - Based on fact he qualified (also cool he took a game off puma at finals, thanks for the clarification Xeris) 1) (P) EGHuK - Makes sense. He's one of the hottest foreigners on the scene at the moment, and EG probably more than wanted him to compete in the NASL considering they bought both him and the remaining days on his contract, even despite his commitments to Korea. He could make a huge storm in the NASL, even despite the Korean lag issue. Just look at how many Koreans made it through the NASL Open, NASL S2 Qualifiers and through the actual LAN event that was the Grand Finals. And since HuK's trained hugely for months in Korea and should hopefully get a great training environment under EG, he could own this competition if he really wanted to. 2) (T) Liquid'Jinro - What success? The furthest he ever made it was as an MLG champion about a year ago before we started to see Koreans finish almost top in every MLG and in the Ro4 of Code S. Since then, he's shown disappointing results. I sure as hell hope he's improved greatly since his knockout from Code A and doesn't end up being the Artosis of Season 2. He showed such great promise in the GSL and then went from Code S to Code A to 'Code B,' on a slump so significant, you could see it from space. Then again, maybe I'm being too hard on Jinro, speaking as somebody who is in Gold League and doesn't have the necessary skills to go pro, let alone qualify for Code A, which even some of the best players fail to do. Besides, he may just be unlucky. Some people have bad days, but there is such a thing as bad weeks or even bad months. Jinro plays well in all seriousness but has had a few unlucky months. 3) (T) FXOJohnLennon - He hasn't got the best results, but Qxc does show pretty significant streaks of brilliance like the IM all-kill where he took down 4 members of their team including MVP, a player that not even MMA or BoxeR could beat in a straight up game. 4) (Z) IMBALoWeLy - Don't know who he is but if he made it quite far through the qualifier and lost only to Koreans (who were pretty much the only people to initially qualify through the Season 2 qualifier) then he's probably great. 5) (P) FnaticMSI NightEnD - He's got some results and did qualify. Also, you'll have to be pretty good to actually take a game off of PuMa.

The denied him participation in season 1 because they were concerned about his visa even tho he didn't have any visa problems apparently. This is kind of making up for it? ![]() Huk didn't want to play in Season one because of bad conditions and lag from Korea. I think Jinro had similar reasons. What changed their mind for season 2?
