You must have misunderstood something. This eight-year-ago business must have been talk about that infamous semifinal (?) against Boxer with the three bunker rushes. Yellow actually played BW non-stop until just a few months ago. He even played BW professionally through his military service in the ACE proleague team of the South Korean Air Force.

Evidence is not undeniable.
You are trying to say that we should just assume and accept theory that whole showmatch thing was faked. No.
It is possible that someone else made account slayersyellow and is good enough to play in masters and matchhistory proves nothing else that its possible that this person has encountered famous players in ladder.
Also it is very predictable that someone would fake to be some famous player, it has happened many times before.

1.) Yellow clearly trolled when he said he had another account just to hide that he's done only 30 games in 5 days rather than 30 games each day.
2.) Boxer said when Yellow was retiring that he has made the SlayersYellow account and that if Yellow wants to turn to Sc2, he can join SLayers anytime. If Slayers own the account nothing prevents them from using it as a smurf account for their zergs.
3.) Yellow played simply bad at the showmatch.
4.) That account was masters before Yellow retired.
CONCLUSION:
That's not Yellow, unfortunately.

There's tonnes of idra's, slayersboxer's, etc.. not surprising that someone would fake slayersyellow. Not that it's fake, I have no evidence either way. All I'm saying is that a high ranked fake is plausible.

As said previously, OP proves nothing, and this account is probably not the real yellow since it was already in masters before Yellow's retirement.
Also, since Project A is recorded a few weeks in advance, it would be very unlikely that Yellow plays on an account with a name that could be identified, in order to avoid spoilers like "omg Yellow just made it to masters" when everybody can see that his account is in Masters since two weeks :>

HuK and IdrA are a corporate-hyped rivalry and both owned by the classless-EG. There's no comparison between BoxeR and YellOw. BoxeR was the face of Terran, turned Terran from UP to OP, and the face of his team (Orion/SKT). YellOw was the face of Zerg, king of second place, and the face of his team (KT). The only similar comparison is FlaSh and Jaedong.
HuK and IdrA is say.. Newcastle Utd v Sunderland, compared to BoxeR v YellOw or FlaSh v Jaedong, which is closer to Manchester Utd v Liverpool FC and FC Barcelona v Real Madrid.
Edit: About YellOw to SlayerS, I'd prefer him to make his own team and have his own identity like BoxeR suggested. There should be a new team with Nal_rA (when he comes back from the military) and Reach (it's inevitable since he already won the SPL and has no realistic chance of anything else now).

a) YellOw's ID is censored on Project A, so ID is insufficient evidence
b) Many many weeks ago, there was a news article saying SlayerSYellow was not Yellow's ID (but it was before his proper transition to SC2)
c) This first SlayerSYellow account was Masters in June, which runs contrary to a point made below.
d) He has been playing SC2 at least since end of July (he mentions he was in Bronze when he was attending some S2Con player seminar), but he will have multiple accounts anyway -_-
