Having a girls only practice team and community opens this option for women that might otherwise not exist, and as such is a good thing. Are you really suggesting you expect fem-fx to be fielding a girl's only showing at the next GSTL and that as men this change would suddenly mean you couldn't attend? This team is a good idea and I hope it's successful.

in every aspect of your team. And it's really nice to see all these efforts for growing and expanding the female Starcraft community.

I didn't call you stupid, the only time I used the word stupid is when I described a sentence. Definition of Sexism: Sexism, also known as gender discrimination or sex discrimination, is the application of the belief or attitude that there are characteristics implicit to one's gender that indirectly affect one's abilities in unrelated areas. It is a form of discrimination or devaluation based on a person's sex, with such attitudes being based on beliefs in traditional stereotypes of gender roles. Where exactly does it say something about the fact that it is only sexism when a group has that attitude? No. Fucking. Where. Goodnight.

I cannot believe someone would have the audacity to make a team such as this. This is just as bad, if not worse, than the defending of Slayers_EVE joining team Slayers for her good looks. This is not the way to go about promoting Esports or even general equality for the sexes. Based on the amount of sand in your vagina I'd say you have an excellent shot of getting accepted as a member.

In response to goldemerald, I don't think it's official that we are a "girl only" team. Our coaches are quite talented and I would be greatly interested in including them as players if the founders are fine with that.

I'm happy to have been chosen as this team's captain and I will make it my duty to bring any member up to speed that wishes to compete. Trust me when I say that the ladder rankings of these girls are mostly irrelevant. A couple of them give me a good run for my money every time we practice and along with the coaches, I think we could have a highly competitive team going to events as a group by the end of the year. It will take time but I'm confident in my team and what we can accomplish. In response to goldemerald, I don't think it's official that we are a "girl only" team. If you've checked out my stream, you may have noticed for the last month I've been playing under a new ID: femFxKaren. If you have participated in the ESL:Iron Lady you may have met Yui the Administrator. Yui(Andrea) and Nemi(Susan) and myself(Karen) started a new girls only team. It's been on the go for almost 2 months now and we are launching our site today officially to the public :o) (Monday August 8th 00:00 Pacific Time) If it isn't a girls only team, then I think you should ask karenmcd to edit the post to avoid any more controversy.

I don't have any authority other than setting up and helping the girls to practice. And there is no controversy. There will be no change to the team just to make people happy. If this is so controversial to you, tell me of one other team that actually includes a girl. May I remind you that we are not the first only-girl team. If you are so outraged with us, kindly include that outrage with clan PMS lest you sound hypocritical. And perhaps you would be better off asking why more prominent teams such as EG, Liquid and CoL do not include any women in their roster instead of wagging your finger at us for having no men.

EDIT: Good luck with the team! And national teams/tournaments are xenophobic, right? :/ Haters gonna hate.

EDIT: Good luck with the team! "Sexism" implies that we believe there are characteristics to one's gender that directly affect their abilities. Exclusivity does not equal sexism. It's not a girl-only team because we believe men are inferior or superior, or vice-versa. I can't change your views, but you are quite wrong on that front. Thank you for the good wishes.
