Now of course Moletrap has to go on to say how bad vines is so this guy is probably bad too Should be enough to fire him. But Gom doesn't care about the English stream. He shows up to work and that's all they care.

There's nothing wrong with expecting the most from an organization especially when the organization expects a lot from the players. If GOM punishes Naniwa for not delivering a product that the fans would enjoy, why do they not do it for Moletrap? *For the record I support their punishment against Naniwa*

For me, I'm not amazed about his style and game knowledge, but absolutely horrified by his high pitched voice so I automute code A everytime I hear it. ![]() This cannot be addressed, no matter how the listeners or the caster himself would like to improve, and to state this is neither hating, or constructive.

1. Habitually talking over cocaster. 2. Repeating something cocaster said 10 seconds ago. (Raven can use drones to defend against stalkers) 3. Shallow analysis And the comment he made about Japan and nuclear bomb just absolutely has no place in a e-sport commentary. *Yes, this is my first post, and I got to this thread by google moletrap sucks to see if anyone else feel the same way, and I have to say I wasn't shocked at all to see there is a fair amount of people feeling the same way. Compelled to make an account just to get my 2cents in.

Every other critical comment states how they hope he can improve and I think that is for the most part not possible. For SC2 knowledge he started late in the game around September of 2010 which is more than half a year after most people were following SC2 so he can catch up a bit. For tone of voice I don't know how much voice coaching can change the way a person speaks. As with his overall casting abilities he's been casting Starcraft games since 2006 which is as much practice as almost any eSports caster in North America is going to have so I don't see that improving too much more.

I like khaldor and wolf better, as wolf offers good game knowledge and khaldor has a natural, enthusiastic style that gets you excited in the big battles. My hope is that moletrap improves as a caster and adopts a style that is more bearable. Dunno which style this could be... Yeah.... until then, I really hope that GOM makes it so that he casts less, hate having to mute not only Code A, but the GSTL now as well....

I am very critical of casters because they are in charge of the entertainment in my eyes. Moletrap at least has BW experience, if he could get out of his own way it would be good.

Gom could add a function to disable moletrap's mic so people could hear only the game and the other caster (it probably wouldn't work since moletrap screams so much we would hear it from his co-caster's mic).

Compared to someone like Apollo who is constantly up to date with players recent builds and history, it just seem like lack of effort on his part.

(1) He needs work REAAALLY hard on his game knowledge. This has been stated here countless times and it cannot be stressed enough since this it is really lacking and its the most important part of the criticism of him. (2) He really needs stop his super fake "excitement" which is annoying as hell for me. What is especially irritating is that it sounds soooo 100% fake. And on top of that it hurts my ears since he does like to scream very very loudly. (3) His voice is really annoying as well (but this is my personal taste so to speak) (4) He needs to stop his terrible jokes

In all seriousness, he's hard to listen to; I suppose it's somewhat entertaining to mentally question him at every turn but the novelty soon wears off. I appreciate GOM giving the option to listen to the Korean commentary but thats really not a good solution... Constructive criticism--play the game!
