$10 hotkey question space and control groups

I was wondering how to set control group aditions to the spacebar+#.

Hence, currently when you want to ad to control groups the command is shift +0 for control group zero and so on.

The hot-key editor seems to have no problem allowing simultaneous key presses involving shift,control and alt. Space bar and other keys don't seem to be compatible with multiple key combinations. if you think of an ingenious solution i will send 10 dollars if someone gives an easy non-hacking way to fix the problem and let me try out my space grouping hot-key idea.
( ie add to control group 3 is (space +3))

summary: i want to be able to use the space bar for control groups in the same way that shift or control is currently in use.

Even if this works, the space bar could only work for either shift or control, you would still have to one of them.

The only way I know how to do this is by rebinding your Space Bar to a modifier key (Shift, Ctrl, Alt). But then you can't use it as a space bar anymore.

You cannot add spacebar + 1 for control group the game doesnt not allow that, you need to do what is mentioned in a post above. You have to physically go and remap the keys for this function.

Sign on to starcraft 2, go to... Hotkeys in the menu tab. Go to where it says "control group"
it should say Cntrl+1 make it Shift+1 done.

I had the same problem, and as far as I know the KeyTweak solution offered above is the only possible one. I use right alt as spacebar for typing purposes, seemed like the best option.

I think an outside-of-client solution is your way to do what you want legally. Theres plenty of free programs out there that let you rebind your keyboard keys. Just google "keybinder".

Of course keep in mind you won't be able to use your spacebar for its normal functions in windows, so you'll need to toggle every time you play. Or get used to pressing Shift instead of spacebar.

Honestly its more hassle than its worth imo. Tournaments won't let you use keybinders anyway, as they can totally screw up systems if you're not familiar with the software.

Download Autohotkey Basic, then download this file and execute it with AutoHotkey on windows start (place in Start->Programs->Autostart) or only when you need it (it only rebinds the space key in the SC2 window).

Or if you trust me use this .exe file and put it in your Autostart, it does the same, you only don't have to download and install autohotkey.

This is 100% legal.

If you need any other features send me a pm, it's pretty easy to do and I can't believe you srsly would give 10$, just keep your money
