well what can i say?
watching 3 games marineking 1 base allin sase and sase cant do anything
the game is totally going in the right direction and terran 1 base allins aren't as strong anymore as everyone can see in the grandfinal

SaSe played great but there was some big mistakes he made that led to his losses in my opinion.
G1: He split his army on the cavern of XNC and lost his sentries, plus he took A LOT of unnecessary damage once siege was done trying to hold that contain.
G2: If he had gone for 3 gate aggression before Nexus he should have won, he would have hit WAY before cloak and there was a really low marine count. He had a chance but didn't poke up the ramp to see that he had this chance.
G3: Engaging in the middle of Tal'Darim against an early game terran is almost never good, doing so then right clicking into the terran army and losing 3 stalkers for free is definitely not good.

nah i didnt ask what mistakes sase did that cost him the games did i?
im saying that im totally irritated that terran can 1 base allin 3 games in a row and win a big tournament this way
and also i thought bytbibyt times are over but guess they aren't

He was able to one base all-in because of SaSe's mistakes. These two bits of information are linked. BitByBit times are over -- SaSe just effed up.

If SaSe had played perfect I would agree with you. But he did make mistakes that costed him very dearly. He's a great player, but to blame a race and not the obvious (and game changing) mistakes that happened is sort of silly.

3Gate aggression is a gamble ever since the warpgate timing buff. It relied hitting as fast as possible. Half the time you see people do it these days is a very calculated version of it, you can no longer do a eco version without taking a huge risk. Incredibly petty to hold that against him, especially since he has no idea what is up there

watched every mkp replay, this guy micro is out of this world, he holds 2 proxy gates in his base without scouting them with 1rax, the defense with minimal loses blew my mind

G1 SaSe forced MarineKing to do a 1-1-1 build by building his pylon near his rax, not even cancelling it (because on xel'naga it was either 2rax pressure/3rax combat shield or 1-1-1). Then he got a lot of probes killed by not being prepared for the marine/medivac/hellion poke. Then he just died.
G2
G3 in pool play on taldarim MKP 1rax expanded against Daisy ad got killed by 4gate. That's maybe why SaSe decided to 4gate but this time MKP 3rax'ed. It was the same "kind" of build by both players. SaSe made errors that costed him the game, gg gz.

edit : and yeah I don't understand why you would ever inbase 2gate against him, he is like the terran with the best control in the world...
That's nice to see that the only protoss players who didn't fear him (= didn't try to cheese him out every game) were SaSe and LoveCD

those are not all-ins just high pressure builds (if u notice sc2 is developing in that direction, you have to keep opponents honest otherwise they will cut corners and beat you later), mkp had follow ups for all of them you can see it in one game where he 3rax on TD then when he sees his 3rax didnt do much so he immediately expanded.
