I'm quite sad that the past few drama incidents have really dropped TSL's reputation needlessly. The issue however seems to be with FD and Trickster, who were not putting in their share of work (despite being the only two receiving nearly $1k a month in salaries). The other players like Clide, SangHo, etc, all still kept practiced hard and even returned their salaries when their team were in trouble. I think Lee probably should have took the offer to negotiate with the players, but then again, he could still be a bit pissed at s2con's inaction over Puma's departure. It's just a very bad time for him and TSL. This is exactly how I feel. I dont know why people are bringing Puma and EG into this separate story especially without the TSL statement yet.

What I can see SlayerS isn't a member of the association as well, is there a reason why it is so? it was made before slayers was made. not sure why they haven't been embedded into the association but that's probably a reason for it also, not that surprised this happened. i never judged coach lee like i knew what was going on, but people don't suddenly leave your team en masse for no reason, and especially the chain of events with the Puma deal (or lack thereof) showed me his dishonest character.

Do you expect your boss to pay you if you don't show up for work either? Only got Coach Lee's word for that - FruitDealer and Tester would never go out and dispute that, because of the Confucius-sort of honor code asian people have for leaders/elders

Not paying them while still using them for sponsorship is rotten.

Because lots of people sided with EG in the PuMa/EG situation, and now they're seeing a perfect opportunity for a nice smarmy "Aha!" moment.

Part of the issue is that if this was a "honor" contract, then he also lied about receiving the money and why not to pay them. There is still some shiftiness going on here.

Fruitdealer admitted to drinking alot and not practicing. Both of them also left the team as well as working with the organization.

Based on my limited Google translate skills, it just basically goes on about what we already somewhat know, namely justifying withholding FD and Trickster's money due to their lax attitude to practice and also mentions that they'll still be participating in GSL/GSTL.

Apparently they can't just "kick" them from the team because the contract is still there, i don't know about the sponsorship thing though, maybe there's some misunderstanding there.

And it doesn't matter how hard they practice as long as it follows the contract. Same thing with pro athletes. They can perform at whatever level after the contract is signed, but there's no guarantee how well they'll perform and as long as they just show up to practice like agreed and play games then they still get paid the same amount. It's more difficult in this case since I'm sure they never outlined any sort of practice regimen (think TSL was pretty infamous for having lax practices until the recent changes).

Yeah, FD and Trickster are notorious for being lazy - I think it's just fair if they don't get paid if they don't put in the work. That said I don't know what the contract/deal looked like. I wasn't aware of any slander from TSL's part but then again I don't visit the Korean sites.
