I personally dont know anything about him prior to star2. Other than tastosis saying that he was a sweetheart, him unprofessionally ranting about puma and now this... him lying about sponsorships and withholding salary. I dont have any respect for him as a manager, coach, PR, or anything that comes with running a team.
I will say that hes probably a sweet guy BUT his lack of self control (when it comes to emotions) and his lack of skills and experience in the management department got him owned. TSL needs proper management (with coach lee STRICTLY being a coach or a role that is more defined) or their unstable ship will continue to sink.

Eh, I love fruitdealer honestly, and this seems like a situation that lee managed incredibly poorly, but to think that this isn't both sides being stupid is dumb.
Why in the world would you say something like this. What would make you think that 'both sides being stupid'. This has got to be the dumbest thing I've read in this thread.
It's like saying "Well, I know he was a fucking thief skimming money from the top, talking shit about his own players, not paying his own team, lying about money, and convincing players to return their paychecks by lying about the truth of the financial situation, but in all fairness, those players were being stupid for trusting him!".
Like wow. What in the WORLD would make you say something like that. Is it possible? Maybe. Can we reserve judgement on Lee? Sure, although he seems to have already presented his side of the argument. Can we reserve all judgement because maybe all the facts aren't out? Sure. But to outright say that the other side is 'being stupid' with no fucking reason...

I think Lee took an illegal approach at disciplining the players.
If you consider Tester and FD's performance when they were in TSL, one might feel it is justified that they be disciplined that way because they honestly sucked hard.
We know from this that there's some sort of agreement between Lee and T/FD that they can have a more relaxed practice schedule, but yes at the same time, they should feel the personal obligations to not slack since they were the only players with Clide being paid high salary.
As for the information about sponsorship increase since March or whatever while Lee claims they are getting less sponsored money is interesting. Since the player's associations has no authority to audit Lee's use of money, we can't say much about this. But this does seem very sketchy from Lee's part...

Well it seems that manager Lee was (and is?) putting sponsor money and equipement from the team into his own pocket. This is a crime, and hopefully he will be punished for that!

^ It's like a starcraft 2 union in korea. I believe there were similar things for BW (kespa?). It's like a federation of all the big teams, particularly the coaches, so that issues can be resolved by a third party arbiter who understands the scene rather than in a courtroom and out in the public (ie, a nasty settlement case) as well as to promote the interests of everyone involved in SC2.
I know that may not be too clear, but basically it's an sc2 union and TSL just got kicked out, which is a big deal.

basically every accusation turned out to be farce. Coach lee's lack of involvement, money matters and etc... yeah pretty much every thing.
As for your question, I really don't care about this ordeal enough to have a personal opinion of who's the innocent party. IMO, FD and Tester were the main culprit and that's as far as I'm going to go.
Besides, I don't want to mislead people with one short statement. Wait for translation (hopefully) and it will become clearer. sorry.

Just skimmed through and it seems like he met with Coach Lee to get everything out in the open. Coach Lee showed up with bank statements, credit card statements, expenses details...etc, and showed that he wasn't flat out lying to trickster and FD about sponsor money not coming through. Basically, it was all just a misunderstanding. Also, the ST coach is going to retire from his position as the president of SC2Con.
I can't translate it in full since I'm a little preoccupied, but if anyone else does, I'll make sure to include it in the OP.

yeah. if I read it correctly, Startale coach did not purposely lied in the begining.. but those misunderstanding was pretty damning and crippling I would say. I mean, if I was in coach lee's position, I would sue Startale coach's ass. I'm sure I could. If not him, then FD and Tester.
I'm sure coach Lee has some dirt on his hand too and it maybe have been a misunderstanding but it's something you can't afford to make especially if you go the distance like Startale coach did in public. It looks like he did the impulse all-ined without enough info and all his banelings got killed by siege line.
