3D Terran logo wallpaper

Hi TL! Made a 3D model of the Terran logo with the eagle. Used Maya to model it and then render it with mental ray (final gather). I have only made one resolution but if you like it and want one that matches your resolution I could make it for you.

This is only the first renders of the model so it's really simple and clean. If you have any good ideas how to use the model further I'm glad to hear it. I am planing to make each race logo, but first I will make some cool render on this one.

Can you make it like this but with the 2 logos on the side being Zerg and Protoss, but make 3 and rotate the Zerg to the middle, the Toss to the middle etc.

I think a decent texture would make it really cool.

If you're planning to do all the races, I have a vector file of the logos which you can have if you like- tracing can be quite boring

Yeah I feel it most certainly needs a texture, perhaps some grain and perhaps alternate lighting. Looks real nice though good work.

Yes a good texture is indeed needed, just have a simple xmia on now, with a metal preset, will as said do more with it. Perhaps tomorrow.

if your going to have 3 of them I'd suggest tilting/rotating the ones on the sides so its like a pyramid. But nice job regardless

I don't know why the lightning is off but I use six spotlights and they are perfectly symmetrical in the scene still I get some darker areas on the right side. Can anyone explain why?

Edit: That is why the solo one is taking some time, I want to solve the lightning issue.

2nd: Found the problem! It was the rotation of the z axis that was of on the right side spotlights. Updating the first image as well when it's done rendering
