OMG... Did anyone elses brain blow up with the prospect of Puma and Idra being on the same team aswell?

With those two, along with incontrol and a bit of improvement from Demuslim and Machine, this team could own the GSTL!

LOL

I think iS will actually do better at MLG than EG, so...

One of iS's players doesn't use hotkeys lolololol, he hotkeys his Nexus to like 5 and that's it for the entire game. One time I saw him hotkey 2 Robos to 4 though.

SixJax Clide make it happen Artosis! Pretty cool that foreign teams are acquiring top level Koreans now. Hopefully foreigners start to compete better against Koreans because of it.

That actually would be fun to see SixJaxClide :D

Anyway...First Rain, then FruitDealer and Trickster, now PuMa. There must be something going on at TSL that isn't right, or else why does everyone want to leave it ?

Kick Major out and get Clide.

This is the beginning of the crumbling of Korean SC2 scene. Everything eventually comes down to money/funding, and Korean teams are already small in that aspect, not to mention they have to cover team house and expenses.

With FXO and TSL gone, I can envision the Korean scene being down to 1-2 teams monopolizing the whole region, much like what happened in Wc3. Those teams are the ones with all the big sponsors, and thus all the big players.

Hooray! We are one step further in killing off SC2 in Korea. Go Go Western e-sports! U S A U S A U S A!!!

Alot of teams actually have mainstream companies backing them, so I wouldn't say they're smaller...would need to know more ofc. I know Prime has a chicken deal, which doesn't seem big to us but is like a major endorsment deal in Korea, and even then I'd prefer a mainstream company to sponser me than a niche gaming one like Razer/Steelseries (not that there's anything wrong with them, just seem like comparatively smaller fish)

two sides to every story!

Nope. It's more like two stories to each side - the real one, and the one they'll grace the public with.

But oh well - roll out the EG damage control PR squad again.

I don't see a side there. I see Scoots vaguely pissing on TSL statements without offering an explanation himself. Sure he's with Alex working out a nice PR side to what they did.

Holy shit dude give it a rest. It's the middle of the night in America and presumably didn't know the TSL coach was going to make a press release. Obviously they are having a secret meeting plotting their lies right at this moment. It's not like Scoots could be unhappy (just like the TSL coach is) that this announcement was made without their side of the story and they haven't prepared a press release yet. You've obviously made up your mind already, however, so I doubt it will matter to you.

I'm also in america...and I base my statement on Scoots not offering an explanation BECAUSE HE JUST FUCKING TWEETED. Oh wait, you can do that while asleep.

Man grow up. Scoots made that tweet presumably when he discovered this thread. It's not possible he could have been doing something else or have been woken up by someone about this.

He may not even be aware of this thread. Scoots has said in the past that his twitter gets spammed with hate. So he could have just been responding to people tweeting at him about Puma

Heh, Incontrol's tweet. I would've hoped EG's players would at least be acting professionally at a time when they're being criticized heavily.

Breaking contract=poaching players. And even then you're still nitpicking over a word, not arguing against the idea itself.

Honestly...it was a dick move on EG's part, but if Koreans don't want to give their players the benefits that foreign teams do, is this really a bad move for esports? Maybe Koreans will actually be rewarded for their hellish practice schedules now.

For a team that talks so much smack about other teams, this was extremely sleazy. Karma will strike again. EG is still not the best foreign team. Never was - Never will be
