There are so many wrong comparisons to other sports in this thread, it's unbelivable. Stop it. Related to the topic: Well, we all know that EG is the BM team #1 in SC2, but I am really, really disappointed in Puma. Hope he meets DRG in the next Code A qualifier. Yes, please stop comparing it to sports. There is no governing body of sc2 like there is in sports so you can't compare the two.

Well there you go. If that's true than TSL made it easy for him to leave whenever he chose.

No written contract then all is forgiven for EG I feel. They just offered a player a real contract....kind of like Arsenal sniping Fabregas from Barcalona's youth team.... Good work EG ![]()

DongRaeGu will go to MLG Anaheim... My bet is that the MVP coach/manager is kind of nervous right now.

Sure you can keep him and keep paying his salary but he won't perform to his normal level. That's also probably the reason TSL straight out decided to release him from his contract. Nonononono Nonono Let me fill you in on Koreans. Koreans have a level of kinship deeper than westerners. If you get together as a team, you will become very close. The coach is a father figure and he wanted what would make Puma happy. If Puma wanted to go and join another team then the coach would let him. This doesn't change the fact that EG is a complete joke of a team who didn't respect TSL as a team, didn't respect SC2 as a sport, didn't respect the Korean culture and they certainly don't respect Puma. The worst part is Puma had such a bright future ahead of him too. lol my korean genes are kicking in for the whole respect thing ==;;

they want a player; they ask him to join; he accepts if puma did not have any contract with TSL there is absolutely nothing wrong with it

You think TSL just let puma out of his contract for no reason and EG signed him before any other team? Thats obviously not what took place.. EG clearly poached puma, then when TSL found out they had no choice but to let their player go.. And based on what PlayXP people are saying, it was more like Puma told the coaches he was leaving, packed his bags, and left, without really asking for a contract release or discussing his potential move with them at all. It's a question of professionalism and contractual obligations but it's also one of respect, and EG doing this make foreign teams look bad/shady IMO.
