reminds me of the quote " fucking kimchi man" or something along the lines of that. Looks like IdrA and Co def are not popular at all here.

How would he cope being so far away from Korea? Would being with EG help improve or worsen his skill? Would his skills help improve the skills of the EG players? So many questions!!! FXO and fOu were quite close, from what I've been told.

No. It's because they're damn good at it and it pays. If you're offered more pay to do what you're good at, why wouldn't you go for it? Stop the "soul skater" shit and get realistic. p sure they do it because it's their passion, seeing as how working at mcdonalds 40 hours a week probably nets you more income than any SC2 progamer that isn't MC, Nestea, MVP, Foxer, or anyone else in the top8 worldwide sc2 earnings (or is contracted at a reasonable wage ie IdrA).

Imagine now how teams are gonna feel about sending top players to the USA to compete if they are afraid they might get them stolen ! Teams buy/trade/steal players all the time but this is just a little bit worse ! I guess teams will just have to step up and keep their players happy and pockets filled.

It's a sharks' world. Don't act like Asian business culture is any different. Business is business. If esports is to succeed, businessmen will be at the helm. It's nice to think of players as just casual guys, but if you've ever looked at any actual sports franchise it should be fairly obvious that they're run with a business purpose in mind.

He's under no obligation to remain with TSL after his contract expires.

I won't say congratulations to EG, but hopefully Puma will continue to do well. I'll root for Puma's success. Also, for the people who constantly crow about it being the player's decision, I completely disagree. Under contract you become a part of the team, and the team must agree to release you, unless the TSL contract was poorly written.

Actually, they do have that Korean SC2 Players Association thing.... So likely, they could do something about this.

Also I feel like Puma got a little ahead of himself and this decision will ultimately doom him in terms of improving his skill level and maybe even hinder him in the GSL because his practice partners are all living in the US. I guess I can see the future of his financial wealth increasing if EG is paying him a much better salary, which is probably why he joined, and if they send him to every major foreign tournament.
