What the hell does it matter if it is isolated to SC2 or not? Are you implying that harassing people in general is perfectly ok? I seriously have no idea what your point is. Just because something is shitty doesn't mean you have no right to try to improve it, or in this case, take legal action against people who are illegally (and immorally) harassing and degrading a completely innocent person. I say that the harassers are acting illegally because based on posts from people who seem to be more informed on South Korean law, this type of harassment can be legally punished.
Yeah I agree that in a perfect world Jessica would have a little bit tougher skin and handle the matters a little more professionally and privately, but when you are affected by something so personal to you it is easy to lose your cool.

She is the manger??!! Seriously boxer?
What kind of business decision is that? Just look at her action you can tell she has very little experience in the field. She would never gotten this job if she went through the normal procedures. For the sake of Slayers, get another person or get her a PR adviser.

Care to outline your case? All you've said is "just look at her action, you can tell..". What PR or managerial decision do you disagree with exactly?
How can you purport to know the criteria by which she was hired under? If you do not claim to know this, then how can you authentically claim that she wouldn't have gotten the job if "she went through the normal procedures"?

tbh i go both ways on this.
people can have opinions ... but keep them to yourselves they really ahve no value and only serve to generate a wall of pointless noise and speculation.

You're sure to last long here.
Anyway it's still libel. I think the anonymity of the internet has made some people forget that.

I did before posting.
She is overreacting. Its the fuckin internet.
She also comes off as unprofessional by doing things like this.

Now harassment is an entirely different subject but that usually takes at least fifty threatening messages before it is even looked into (made up number but it is quite a few though).
feel sorry for the slayers fan though, just offering some constructive criticism :/.
I don't get why in the op it explain that you can get into jail for something you say in the internet in korea. Never heard of a country in the world where you can NOT get into jail for something you said.
You have a strange understanding of freedom of speech...

She's overreacting.
Just giving more attention to the subject, should have just ignored it and moved on and proved doubters wrong with results.
When asked about recruiting Eve, she said she recruited by potential and looks. I don't know what kind or reactions she was expecting with an answer like that. Can you imagine someone being picked up in another professional sport because of their looks? It would be even worse than just some people picking on her on the forums but I bet a professional article would be made to question their judgement to do so.
I bet a lot of criticism are from people that are fans of slayers too. Doing something like this can be hurting their fan base. To me personally, Jessica seems unprofessional and what some of the people are saying about Eve may seem unprofessional too but it's not their job to be. You don't see athletes/actors/actresses go into forum wars with their critics. This phase of ridicule would have passed in a couple months and suing would just prolong this unneeded attention.

Yeah Jessica was in eSports before her and Boxer got together, and she has been the manager of SlayerS for a pretty long time now and there have been no problems whatsoever. Whether you think she is acting appropriately or not, I'm pretty sure this kind of thing isn't part of the job description and her competence in doing her job probably shouldn't be questioned over such an incident, especially with such vague, unsupported, and rather uninformed criticism.

I don't know what happened in the job interview(if there was one), but in this real world, as a person, we are defined by what we do in our life. What she did was unprofessional and this has been pointed out a number of times in this thread.
So in short: Yes, from what I've read so far and her past twitter history. She is a poor manager(PR side at least). And I am convinced that she likes power.

feel sorry for the slayers fan though, just offering some constructive criticism :/. lol, most of the people that jessica is suing is in fact the ones that were harassing. she obviously isn't suing people that gave constructive criticism. although I do agree on some parts that she is over reacting, I've seen the photoshopped pictures and the posts myself and I don't think she's over reacting to those at all. there were photos of eve's face photoshopped into porn screenshots with things written below defaming the entire slayers team or jessica or boxer etc. well i said i feel sorry for the slayers fan and that was all, the rest of your post is well not going against my post so no arguments there.... you were bringing up freedom of speech which implied that you were saying what she is doing is against freedom of speech, thought it was funny nah you can't get sent to jail for something you said on that one day on the internet......which is what i am saying if she is overreacting to some peoples comments that maybe were just telling what happened but in a rather maybe vulgar manner? they get sent to jail for that? really? thats not possible here in the USA so we do not have to worry that much about things like this.... and yes it is against freedom of speech,if i can get sent to jail for something i say did i have the freedom to say it? not really because there was a price i payed to say that
no they won't be sent to jail, but they'll have to pay a fine, and it'll show up on their record (assuming they do get sued and it goes through) and just because you have freedom of speech, you can't harass people. completely different matters

I dont really want to read all 46 pages since I just have a simple answer.
Yes, she overreacted, but there needs to be a sense of "I cant just post whatever I want" as it does hurt people... Im all for freedom of speech, but sacrificing manners, common sense, and just being a nice person in general isnt worth it sometimes.

This is interesting, do you know how long she was in this profession? I would like to know more.
Regarding the 2nd part, clearly this and some of the previous twitts are "signs" of her problem.
edit: And I dare to say that this is a sign of a person who is unable to handle their new power. This is the make or break moment for many people. (career wise)

Can someone translate (/give a rough summary) what's in http://twitpic.com/5rzlc9 (I know the original article is the summary given in the OP, but all those tweets & red comments)

If what was done is against Korean law, then Jessica is completely justified in seeking legal action.
Whether you agree or disagree with the law itself is a completely separate issue.

I love Team SlayerS. Why do people have to make so much drama out of their decisions? I can't imagine how Boxer must feel right now. Think about how this is effecting the team, just move on!
