RootPrincess/SixjaxMajor caught smurfing in tourny - Page 59
Forum Index > SC2 General |
Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway. Leave the racial bias at the door while you are at it as well pretty please.

Why? Well he was told he could not participate, yet he did it anyway.... He also broke Blizzard's rules by sharing an account with someone (the guy who gave him the smurf account). I would not be surprised if Blizzard either warns them both or bans them both... Tell me something, why stop blaming him if he CLEARLY BROKE THE TOURNEY RULES AND BLIZZARD's RULES?

Major has always been somewhat non-chalant about stuff like this, but this in no way affects my opinion of him as a player. This sounds more like a disagreement between him and the organizers than anything else. I'm pretty sick of so called "high profile" SEA players (such as kelly LOLOLOL) speaking for everyone. If SEA ever has intentions of having a competitive high level scene, turning away top players from other regions will do us no good whatsoever. Agreed, its a dick move from him, especially to the organiser who seems like a top notch bloke, but its not exactly an affront to the whole server which requires a knee-jerk patriotic response

His reputation doesn't take away from how skilled he is at the actual game.

No it doesn't, but it does hurt his image (to fans, supporters, and general starcraft watchers) and more importantly his professionalism in regards to organizers and other managers. The latter may come to back to bite him in the ass.

Eventually I had to start telling people to f off. Tournament organizers have better stuff to do than explain their actions repeatedly to everyone. Major got what he was asking for. Hes still pretty good but ViBE is still the anchor for sixjax. Also lol CatZ

The fact that this thread went 60 pages isn't Dox's fault however.

How is this such an upset? Yes, he tried to cheat and got caught. So what? People are making this up to be the end of his career or Sixjax. MajOr fighting! (...but stick to the rules in the future!)

MajOr fighting! (...but stick to the rules in the future!) Or you know, the people who care about the integrity of the tournaments they run might not like it when some immature jackass decides to ruin it for all the people involved. I wouldn't expect some of you to care, but try and put yourself in the shoes of one of the other competitors who got unfairly eliminated by this poser pansy. From my understanding it was a diamond level tournament. What kind of "competition" could there be for someone like Major. All you get from him is more bullshit lies and excuses. Guess it's to be expected, takes somewhat of a real man (or women) to admit to their wrongdoings and accept the punishment for them.
