Wonder what strange turn of effects made this happen. Until Blizzard actually releases some kind of statement it's all speculation, as is the 40% number. As much as people complain about blizzard (LAN etc), they're actually a company that provides way better service to it's customers then pretty much any other gaming company out there. With all their games they have a history of pretty clear and open communication, so how about we cut them some slack? If it's a mistake, I'm sure they'll say so publicly and fix it. If it isn't, I'm sure we'll get to hear the reason too.

I was born in Taiwan and immigrate to Australia over 10 years and I apologize everybody accused taiwan people were banned somehow, I read "StarCraft II End User License Agreement" already and I understand to Blizzard rules, they MUST read it before they play sc2, I'm really sorry about they were rude and never follow StarCraft II End User License Agreement, I shall tell them not over twice. Whatever if I ask questions "Why didn't they read StarCraft II End User License Agreement certainly or pretend?", even they were banned and never get account back if they have to buy a new copy and read terms agreement at the beginning, those were simple happens. Blizzard is not "easy and convenient" for taiwanese it is HUGE Blizzard entertainment, I swear said on it and respect all players. Thanks everyone to read and regard this.

As for the bans, waiting on Blizz to release a statement, the people wrongfully banned should at least get some form of apology if its Blizzards fault

Well they can't be forgiven of sins and have to buy new copies, they'll restart while play sc2 from the beginning etc league placement and achievement, I'm surprising of these for today. Respecting players are still simple, not complicated anymore.

Furthermore coding things like free name changes for or for money after so many people complain I don't understand. Poor Taiwan looks like they have a solid little server too.

I don't understand why they wait for mass bans or even what their methods are. It can't be more then a few clicks on their end to ban an account. Furthermore coding things like free name changes for or for money after so many people complain I don't understand. Poor Taiwan looks like they have a solid little server too. It's not that they can't do it. It's a conscious decision to ban in waves because that means that people who are cheating will never know if, or when, their cheat is detected.

Okay so are you trying to say that it's SCARIER because they don't know when their cheat is detected? How about banning people within a few days (always) of a detected hack so that people will realize "oh hey if I start hacking they're going to get me in a few days" and not "lol season 3 just started time to start hacking, I won't get banned until the end of the season most likely" It's whatever, just another screw up by blizzard.

Yea, i think so too. I get emails like that from the games I played (and not played). People have to be more careful if this is actually what happened.
