Even if people were hacking, they would say that they weren't. Nobody wants to be dubbed a "hacker". I'm sure a ton of the people denying it are just denying it because they don't want to be seen in that light.

Yes, clearly taiwanese progamers would hack using the accounts for broadcasted games.
It makes perfect sense.

My taiwanese friend got a "3-day ban".... funny thing is she said she doesn't use any third party program (though I cannot verify this :p). The only thing I could verify is that she's only playing (and trying to finish) the single player campaign in normal mode.

I am afraid it is not a 3 day ban, it is that your account will be deleted in 3 days. http://i.imgur.com/ib8h2.jpg If the "3 days" comes from this one, then it means your account is going to expire in 3 days. This is what people were told by BlizzardTW.

i feel so bad for the people involved but i still smilled at the "reason for ban:none" part of the op. just seems like theres some guy working at blizzard being the biggest troll he can:D

Sad thing was I egged her to play SC2 even though she wasn't really a gamer (I mean she plays the game using a Mac for goodness sake)

Sounds like a bunch of hackers trying to make up excuses, I doubt blizzard "accidentally" banned anyone don't pay attention to these trolls.

Some guy received a letter from Blizzard saying that their NA account is banned, but he does not have an NA account to begin with.
Some people had their entire account "deleted", as in they could not even log on to the battle.net webpage. It is like the account did not exist at all. (If you were banned, you can still log on and your status will become "frozen").
If the above stories were true, I think it is most likely that Blizzard had a database error. I guess we can only wait and see LOL Did you ever think for a minute that maybe they were never banned and they just fell for an email phisher? And that the e-mail gave them a fake bnet website to login to to steal their login info, hence why their account didn't exist? And so on... herp?

But they cannot log in to Battle.net, most people found out that they can't log in, and then checked their e-mail for information.

Okay now that I woke up from last night and I am banned on US. Like I stated and from everyone I talk to they all say RC and I use RC for a guild on Eden Eternal and I'm in that 24/7. So it must be part of the problem Maybe since you can put it on screen while on sc2 it counts as 3rd party. Hopefully this gets figured out.
