Thought this DRG Baby Parody up earlier while making lunch earlier, kinda sloppy but I think it has potential.

He is not just doing micro but also doing macro management at the same time.

mvp's micro is fenomenal, but even that is not comparable to happy's. never seen anyone else kite with so many small groups of stimmed marines at the same time, for such a long time. i remember he used to do it with crypt fiends too

mvp's micro is fenomenal, but even that is not comparable to happy's. never seen anyone else kite with so many small groups of stimmed marines at the same time, for such a long time. i remember he used to do it with crypt fiends too
I personally think that IMMvp has superior micro to Happy in terms of marine splitting and all that. He is just more efficient with his units, in fact, if you watch the video there, you can see that the skill is maintaining the dps whilst splitting whilst avoiding baneling spash as well as avoiding the mutas as well. Mutas are happy to engage splitting marines, but notice how MVP fights back against the mutas, before splitting again against the banelings, whilst at the same time macroing (something that Happy has trouble doing whilst microing), since the reinforcing army of IMMvp is always sickly huge for no reason. In fact, when playing well, I have never seen MVP lose an engagement in TvZ. He always comes out ahead which is amazing. I really hope he brings his best at MLG.
I have a feeling that he isn't actually in a slump, just that he has been a bit unlucky lately. If you ignored MC pwning white dudes, he would also be in a slump before this coming GSL. 2 first round exits in a row, sounds like ... IMMvp of now. Moon is someone that destroys white people and if not for his prowess in being invited to foreign tournaments, most people would assume he stopped playing the game. Put it this way. Of the last 6 games MVP has played, he has won 2 of them, which is kinda bad, but means he isn't gonna play in a few months.

Glad to see someone else who understands how to effectively marine split. What happy does is impressive no doubt, but I too can split the way he can. Run all my marines back and split them up while tanks attack. The reason mvp and mkp have next level splits is because they can somehow split while maximizing dps. They only split groups being targetted by banelings while keeping the other groups attacking. Also happy didn't have to worry about mutas at the same time. All he did was split vs banelings without even doing damage. When mvp splits, he does it so that he's attacking at the same time, not just running around (which is how bad splitters like me do it).

To be fair, we don't know about his macro DURING his micro, because obs didn't showed his hotkeys.
You're honestly doubting mvp's macro? Have you seen his games where he just magically has 30 supply up on mkp?
I agree that his macro is insane, but his games against MKP aren't a great example imo, he has that guy's number, he pretty much knows MKP's style like the back of his hand.

Or you could look at his money... At the start of the clip its at like 600, goes up to 900 and then down to the 400s at the end. Thats pretty damn impressive while microing marines against banelings and mutas while winning the engagement.
